This album is my way of sharing my seat in the Here and Now from a mysterious spaceship called Earth. The music was shaped by a wild ongoing journey of healing and getting my inner house in order along with my studies of sound and consciousness that have helped me feel better than ever. Much of it emerged through improvisational musical meditations with Rami Jaffee, then formed with care and intention into songs and melodies that celebrate life. This music is an offering from the heart.. a reminder that we’re not alone in this experience, that we’re part of something shared, and that life itself is a kind of waking dreamworld ♥️♥️♥️ Links in bio #newmusic #violín #dreamworld #goodvibes #thefutureholdstolove Feeling great appreciation for @theramilama (production, keys, bass and sound magic) @caliretheory (drums on Dreamworld and The Future Holds To Love) @arthurdepalla (bass on The Future Holds To Love) @shelbyarcher @_thefund (mixed and performed Love Alive) @kevinwoods_ (mixed Dreamworld, Here and Now, The Future Holds To Love and Breathe In) @ran_pink (mixed Transmit and Receive and Missing Out) photo @kristinburnsstudio @gavin_lurssen (mastered album) @vrquintero @kiiarens (master artwork) @cloudmics @acoustic_electric_strings @tybarth it takes a village!! My body loves to move and breathe! Playing the violin and living life pulls my body in every direction. Moves like this help me find center again ♥️ #movement #medicine #breath #newmusic #thefutureholdstolove Inhale and interlace your hands Rise up on your toes and reach to the sky Exhale heals to the ground as you bend to the side making sure to engage your strong glutes Twist and open your heart to the sky Come back to center rise back up to your toes Bend to the other side as you engage your glutes Twist open as you elongate your spine and reach your heart to the sky. Release your arms down into the Earth and repeat. by @jessygreene
It’s been loud outside. In the world. In my mind. So I listen for messages in sound. Collapsing the wave to find my ground. ♥️ #meditation #superpower #violin #ancient #melody by @jessygreene
I’m very grateful to @manueloliver00 for speaking at the @composersbreakfastclub today. Manuel lost his son Joaquin in the Parkland, Florida, 2018 shooting. It was a deeply moving talk and inspired me to look into Manuel and his wife, Patricia Oliver’s platform @changetheref It is a beautiful tribute to their son Joaquin “Guac” Oliver. Manuel believes the theater is the right vehicle to get the message out and raise awareness. I wish it were not true, but guns are the leading cause of death for children and teens in the US. Let’s come together and stop this insanity. Please check out the Olivers and see the play GUAC:THE PLAY when it comes to your town ♥️ #awareness #guncontrol #theatre #artistry #activism by @jessygreene
Mother’s Day can be challenging for those of us who have lost our mother. You are not alone. I created a short meditation as a space for comfort, remembrance, and love. Full 5 minute guided meditation available free on YouTube and Bandcamp. Link in bio 🤍 #mothersday #meditation #binauralbeats #violin #goodvibes by @jessygreene
Find your middle ground. Draw the earth’s energy up through your feet and let it rise out through the crown of your head. Breathe. Be playful. Simple movement can regulate our nervous system, calm our wild minds and it feels so good! 🌸 #movementismedicine #goodvibes #healing #newmusic #thefutureholdstolove 💗 by @jessygreene
Eagle Spreads Its Wings ~ move I learned from @whitetigerqigong 🩵✨ Shift your weight to your left leg. The right leg goes to the back, gently placing the outside edge of the foot down with weight mainly in front leg. The right arm extends up, opening the chest towards the sky. Extend your wings and exhale as you bring your opposite leg back, reach up and gaze at your hand extending from the ankles to the wrist. Imagine you have the powerful wings of an eagle. It’s always the same arm and the same leg that extend. This move is great for musicians and anyone who wants a more flexible spine. #movementismedicine #violin #recovery #soundhealing #thefutureholdstolove new album out now 💫♥️🎶🎻💃🏻 by @jessygreene
