“You can’t connect the dots looking forward; you can only connect them looking backwards. So you have to trust that the dots will somehow connect in your future.”

The words of Steve Jobs perfectly captures how I feel reflecting on the past year.

This time last year (January, 2024), I was all over the place with anxiety, uncertainty, late-night grad school applications, and barely any social life. I had NO idea what the future held.

Fast forward to now (January, 2025): I’m starting my 2nd term at Harvard GSD, and yes!... the dots are finally starting to make sense! I get it. All those little steps led me here.

If I could talk to my younger self, I’d say: “The path won’t always make sense, but trust it. Every doubt, every step, every uncertainty, is leading you where exactly you’re meant to be.”

So for anyone feeling unsure: Keep going. One day, you’ll look back and everything will click.

Africa Alive! 2024 at @harvardlaw was a game changer! Connecting with icons like @yemialade, Prof. Wole Soyinka, and former Ethiopian President Sahle-Work Zewde inspired hope for Africa’s future. Thought-provoking discussions on topics such as Africa’s digital future and post-Harvard contributions highlighted opportunities and responsibilities. This wasn’t just a conference – it’s the birth of a movement for a united, prosperous Africa. Leaving inspired and committed to turning our vision into reality. The future is bright for our continent!

Reflecting on this weekend’s incredible Goldie Gala at the Chicago Union Station, I’m still in awe of the amazing energy and connections shared. It was such a privilege to be surrounded by inspiring women leaders in commercial real estate who continue to raise the bar for our industry.

I am really grateful to have been able to share this experience with my amazing Harvard girlies @scholachioma_ , @amylovetomasso, and @brittafilters_ ❤️❤️❤️ .

Huge thanks to Goldie Wolfe-Miller for her tireless encouragement to us all to be bold, and congratulations to all the honorees this year. Here’s to another unforgettable Goldie Gala! 🥂🥂

I’m thrilled to share that I’ve been selected as a 2024/2025 Goldie Scholar! This scholarship represents not just an honor, but a commitment to advancing the future of real estate, particularly women in Real Estate.

Receiving this award is a significant milestone in my journey, and I’m incredibly grateful for the support and belief in my vision.

A huge thank you to @goldieinitiative for this honor, and to everyone who has been part of my journey.

The road ahead is bright, and I’m eager to learn, grow, and contribute alongside an incredible cohort of fellow scholars 🥂🥂

I am beyond thrilled to share that I’m officially starting my education journey at the Harvard University Graduate School of Design, where I’ll be pursuing a Master’s degree in Real Estate!

This isn’t just any milestone—out of many. Even more exciting, I’m humbled to be one of only two Africans admitted this year into this prestigious program.

I am also humbled by the fact that I had the honor of being admitted to two other prestigious universities—Cornell and Columbia. But there’s something special about Harvard, and I know it’s where I’m meant to grow, learn, and make meaningful impact.

The journey to this point was long, arduous and, sometimes, felt unending. This was by far the hardest thing I’ve ever strived for. Yet, through every twist and turn, I’ve learnt fearless determination, unflinching focus, and most importantly, unwavering faith in God.

God has been carefully crafting my story, and I’m excited to see how each chapter unfolds.

I am humbled, forever grateful, and ready for this next chapter. Here’s to the future!

This is the most vulnerable I’ve been on these streets.

Butttt the point is, people will always try to project their insecurities onto you. In the midst of it all, block out the noise and love yourself.

Appreciate yourself. Cherish yourself. Date yourself 😉😉

7 is the number of perfection...or so they say 🤷🏾‍♀️. If it not 7 then it is bad luck.

You know those people that claim that the car somersaulted 7 times in an accident. It is always 7. Can’t be more. Can’t be less.
