Shawn Crawford was a sweet dude. Always down to hang and always down to help out a friend. Shawn was one of the first people I met when I moved to Brooklyn and we hung out pretty non stop the whole time I lived there. There are too many to list all of them but some of my fondest memories are of the many trips we took together- western Mass., Woodstock, Florida, Mexico.. I miss him and will always wish we had more time together. My heart is broken for his family and friends. The world needs more sweet dudes. Rest in power Shawn, love you bud. ❤️ 💔 ♥️ by @jiffymarx
LA punks Generacion Suicida @generacion_suicida_la are sharing the second single “Nunca Escucharas” from the upcoming album Hombre Nuevo. Guitarist/vocalist Tony Abarca shared this about his bands latest- “I just wanted to have something that was fast and catchy while keeping the lyrics rooted in everyday emotions.” The new full-length release is coming via Vitriol Records @vitriol_records August 28th. Now streaming over at Scene Point Blank @scenepointblank and everywhere else! by @jiffymarx

Seems kind of amazing that I got to spend 20 of my 50 trips around the sun married to @jennidorothy thanks for putting up with me 😘 love you my love ❤️ by @jiffymarx
Another sorta twisted toon and the last character added to @blocklobsterday PLAZAPALOOZA banner (one week from today if you’re in vancouver!) weird/funny story about this dude we wanted a sun wearing sun glasses- because of course the sun needs to protect his eyes from himself! (he just calls them “glasses” tho;)- it’s inspired by the cartoon sun from the Kellogg’s Raisin Bran cereal box and commercials BUT if you google it there’s a Reddit conspiracy rabbit hole thing about whether he (she/they?) ever wore sunglasses.. I guess some people thinks it’s a Mandela effect type thing, it’s no Berenstein/stain Bears but interesting nonetheless!? Anyway figured I’d post it for the @lifeform.co #lifeformdrawingclub word of the week: SUMMER. by @jiffymarx
Last minute TWISTED TOON for @lifeform.co #lifeformdrawingclub SPONGEBART SQUARESHORTS “Eat my pants, man” by @jiffymarx
Draweded these two for a recent commission (thanks @blocklobsterday!) Good fit for this weeks @lifeform.co #lifeformdrawingclub theme: TWISTED TOONS! I mean not that twisted I guess, maybe busted toons? Been colouring all of these for fun but might actually like the black lines better so I posted both. If you don’t recognize them you’re probably not a middle aged Canadian lol. Bonus points for the theme song cover by my buds @rongbandyvr by @jiffymarx
Tour dump #2! by @jiffymarx
Last ACID trip for #lifeformwordoftheweek (yes I’m using the same song again but it’s the last and only song I ever wrote about acid 🤷‍♂️) collaged together some old sketches (do the difference line weights give it away?) and coloured them in @photoshop. Reminds me a bit of when i was colouring drawings with @sharpie markers back in the early 2000s (which might also be because that’s when these sketches were done;) Thanks for the inspo @lifeform.co #lifeformdrawingclub by @jiffymarx
