I was doing storyboards for Over the Garden Wall (which was still being called Tome of the Unknown at the time - which is why it says that on the storyboard template) and had this musical sequence in the outline. Here’s a screenshot from the text exchange when I asked @davidvstevenson to write the song based on the title phrase I suggested. I think he wrote and recorded the demo overnight. Then I drew the storyboards for that scene based on his lyrics. Later The Blasting Company and Colin Dean recorded the final version for the show. #overthegardenwall. #potatoesandmolasses by @jim_campbell_art

My friend @davidvstevenson, who wrote Potatoes and Molasses for Over the Garden Wall got to perform with The Blasting Company at the show in Chicago! (The first time they’ve actually met in person) . Filmed by @hpod83 #overthegardenwall by @jim_campbell_art

I still have original pages from the over the garden wall comics for sale. These are just a couple samples. Message me for a full list! #overthegardenwall #comicart by @jim_campbell_art

I’ll be at a signing for Art of Over the Garden Wall at NYCC with OTGW vinyl/print/all-around-rad artist @deadthicket Sam Wolfe Connelly and writer of the art of book @seanmedgar Sean Edgar. We’ll be giving away the custom (and very FREE) prints of the epic book cover art painted by @nicodemuscross Nick Cross. (The book isn’t out yet but I’ll sign the poster and if you have any over the garden wall comics you can bring those and I can sign those too!)

Grammy Award-winner Elvis Costello Featured On Ultra-Rare SECRET Edition Of THE ODDBALL’S ODYSSEY — Find A Hidden Copy TODAY!

Five-Time Eisner Award-winner Tony Millionaire returns to stands TODAY with the release of his magnum opus — THE ODDBALL’S ODYSSEY!

This massive 64-page one-shot is already receiving rave reviews from fans and creators alike. That includes an absolute legend, the multi-grammy Award-winning Rock and Roll Hall-of-Famer Elvis Costello, who had this to say:

”Like Joe Strummer, Like Prince Buster and more grandly, John Wayne, Mark Twain and Lewis Carroll, some aliases simply announce the true personality and imaginative potential of the bearer. Tony Millionaire is no exception, as the munificence of his talents and conventions will confirm.”

We’ve built a Secret Edition of THE ODDBALL’S ODYSSEY #1 featuring Elvis Costello’s quote and hidden them in the run as an ultra-rare intermix edition!

There are TWO versions of THE ODDBALL’S ODYSSEY #1 A cover, both featuring stunning art by Tony Millionaire and Jim Campbell.

The standard cover—featuring a quote by the New York Times best-selling creator of Black Hole Charles Burns—dominates the run at 3 copies for every 1 Secret Edition.

That means the Elvis Costello–featuring Secret Edition is just 1 in every 4 copies printed.

Head to your local comic shop today and try your luck tracking down THE ODDBALL’S ODYSSEY #1 Secret Edition.

But move fast! With only 1 in 4 copies out there, they won’t stay hidden for long.
