📱 hours of footage just sitting on your phone
⏳ editing eats up time you don't have

🎬 you know what looks good, you just can't execute it
📉 you record so much… and post so little

Some legends are born long before the world ever knows their name. 💪🎬

This is the trailer for my documentary on the birth house of Arnold Schwarzenegger — the small house in Thal that carried the first chapter of a story that would go on to shape bodybuilding, cinema, and an entire generation of dreamers.

As a fellow Austrian, Arnold has inspired me since I was a kid — so getting to tell this part of his story was very personal.

Peter Urdl takes us inside: Arnold's youth, the road from this quiet village to global icon status, and the making of the museum that now keeps that story alive.

In 2025, this film earned me the Tremel Medal 🏅 — and the documentary itself been playing in the museum ever since, telling this story to everyone who walks through those doors.

Every icon starts somewhere. This is where it started. 🎥🔥

"Whispers of Destruction" — a short film about becoming an adult, while the whole world is watching.

It felt like the right moment to create a professional account dedicated to sharing and promoting my work.

In this post, I’m proud to present my participation in the Klanglicht Festival in Graz. I had the great honor of being part of this extraordinary festival with my piece *“In the End.”* The project was originally developed as part of my diploma thesis, and having the opportunity to showcase it at such a renowned festival shortly after completing my studies was truly a milestone in my artistic journey.

“In the End” explores themes of transformation, closure, and new beginnings. What started as an academic project quickly evolved into something much more personal and meaningful. I invested countless hours into conceptual development, experimentation, technical realization, and refinement. There were moments of doubt, intense creative challenges, and long nights—but seeing the final work presented in a public space, experienced by so many people, made every second worthwhile.

Being surrounded by so many inspiring artists and creatives during the festival was an incredibly enriching experience. It reminded me why I chose this path and strengthened my motivation to continue pushing boundaries and exploring new ideas in my practice.

I am deeply grateful for this opportunity and for everyone who supported me along the way. A special thank you once again to Birgit Lill, @_chrissi_sudi and the team of @klanglichtgraz for their trust, support, and belief in my work.

I would also like to express my sincere gratitude to the Ortweinschule Graz for providing such an inspiring and supportive environment throughout my studies. A heartfelt thank you to all the teachers who guided, supported, and encouraged me along the way. Your feedback, patience, and trust in my vision meant more than you know.

A very special thank you goes to @jonahoier whom I probably “tortured” with my project for an entire semester. Your dedication, constructive criticism, and constant support played a crucial role in shaping “In the End.”

This is just the beginning.
