🌱She’s FRESH ✨ so exciting ❤️‍🔥 New Moon 🌚 my favourite time to lay down and Altar anchor for the month ⚓️ This one from last November when we were travelling around in a van for a month to explore Portugal ✨ by @jj1s

🕊️🤍Shalom🤍🕊️(עברית בתגובות) Yet again Praying for real Peace 🙌🏼 I made this Altar in November 2023, after foraging the materials on a Collective Peace Walk @turmalinmiriam & @lotan.sapir arranged globally. After a month of war, far away from home, I decided to embrace the challenge & try to create a platform for researching what is needed to create peace ♾️ Often times the clues of where the earth treasures I collect want to be places is flowing effortlessly. 🙈This time there were more challenges, more need for preparations & arrangement in advance. 👁️As tempting as it is to cut out all of these & leave a “perfect” or easy solution, it seems necessary to acknowledge- This prayer needs to go through all of the mouldy & rotten bits to truly manifest…🫀 So here I am, finding the ways to keep making this prayer alive, keep believing it is possible, keep on meeting the shadows so more light can shine through 🪬 by @jj1s

One year ago,
Right at the seam between memorial day and the national celebrations (which always feels cringey and symbolic AF to me), just a moment after I received my moon blood, a perfect, beautiful barn owl that had been hit on the road arrived to me. I lit some cedar for her, asked for her forgiveness, and checked if she wanted to leave something of herself, as a continue of her medicine. The answer was an unequivocal “no.”
She became my way of passing that hazy, strange, and controversial day in a healing manner.
The memorial sirens turned into celebratory music and the scent of BBQs… echoing the unique dissonance that exists in the collective consciousness of this land: mourning, memory, the sanctity of the struggle, victimhood, independence, and it’s price-Whose lives are paying for it?
My mother’s lineage arrived here at the beginning of the last century, with great faith… and today, I feel that something truly important was forgotten along the way.
The hegemonic post-trauma is screaming for us to wake up and realize that we can change this nightmare of eternal war. To dream a new (old) dream of rest, connection, mutual recognition, and peace.
I buried a lot in that session,
and I sowed many new seeds.
I tried to sprinkle generous handfuls of nourishment and beauty over it all, because this earth—and all the life upon it—deserves serenity and the time for us to know and cherish all its wonders. by @jj1s

One thing I really learned from releasing a miscarriage naturally at home, is that some things cannot be planned. I’ve been meaning to post this since February 15th- a day after my birthday & a year after the mini birth preview my body arranged me… It took a lot of courage, an intentional sweat lodge ceremony, tears, prayers, altars, litres of tea, womb massages, endless patience & numerous offerings to cross this threshold. Although the grief was immense, I am forever grateful to have experienced this empowering ceremony, of release, renewal & reclaiming of my healing, my body’s inner knowing, wise sisters’ guidance & the ancestral recalibration that spontaneously follows. Life is a beautiful, messy thing we get to play with/in. I choose to make peace & reconnect, how ‘bout you? by @jj1s

“Mother”… Growing life inside me for the last 24 weeks now… 🌱As soon as I discovered the soul that chose us is male, a whole wave of process deepened in me… 🌞I shot this in yet another sleep deprived morning, thanks to some boys playing around with power… 💀With so many shadows dancing around our reality these days, I decided to at least bring some release & oxytocin to my shadows. I found this song by chance & realised how many mothers have been growing life, while others were loosing their’s for money, egos & stories… 🙏🏼 I pray to become a safe space & guide for this soul who chose to become a man in a changing world 🙌🏼 May the crumbling of patriarchy melt into a new balance, full of reciprocity, love & compassion. May our son live in a peaceful world where wars are something you only hear about in songs… 🤍🐣🕊️🐚✨ by @jj1s

🙏🏼After 8 years of creating Altars for multiple ceremonies, circles, events, workshops & more, always dismantled between 1 hour to a weekend after being created- Practicing this ephemerality, managed to make it slightly easier to release with time, yet always came with a slight pinch in the heart. 🍁 Releasing anything beautiful & meaningful you love is always a challenge… ⌛️ The deepest release I had to accept came with the longest lasting Altar work I ever encountered so far. Sharing little glimpses of how this journey evolved, mirrored by the materials in the Altar. Supporting my mum, myself & all her loved ones on her journey out of a body & back to the star nation alongside our ancestors ❤️‍🩹💫🙌🏼 by @jj1s
