🪞✨ Mirror, mirror on the wall… who's the fairest of them all? 😍

Let's talk about the power of mirrors in home design!

A well-placed mirror can completely transform a space, creating the illusion of a larger room, adding depth, reflecting natural light, and giving your home that extra touch of luxury. ✨

Sometimes it's not about adding more square footage… it's about making the square footage you have FEEL BIGGER! 🏡

From oversized statement mirrors to elegant mirrored walls, the right placement can make all the difference.

So tell us… MIRRORS or NO MIRRORS? 👀👇

At Shelter Homes LA, we believe the smallest design details can make the biggest impact.

The home matters. So does the person walking through it.

Taking the time to walk through a home together, answer questions, and give the conversation room is part of the experience.

What would you ask us on a home tour?

Why is good insulation important in a home? Because comfort is more than temperature.

Acoustic insulation inside walls helps reduce noise traveling between rooms. Think music practice, kids playing, a work call, or someone trying to rest. Everyone has their own routine, and sharing a home shouldn’t mean hearing every moment of everyone else’s.

Thermal insulation slows heat transfer, helping keep rooms cooler in summer and warmer in winter, with less energy needed for heating and cooling.

If you’re planning a family home in Pacific Palisades, privacy and everyday comfort deserve as much attention as the finishes you can see. Good insulation is one of those hidden details that helps a home work better for the people living in it.

Which room in your home needs the most quiet?

Coming home starts with a first step. 🏡

If May 2028 is your homecoming goal, now is the time to start planning your path there.

5 reasons to start building now:
1. Work toward a clear move-in target.
2. Give design, engineering and permits their own time.
3. Make thoughtful choices about how you want to live.
4. Align your scope, budget and schedule before construction.
5. Bring architecture, design and construction together early.

At JJP Construction and Shelter Homes LA, we bring architecture, design and construction all under one roof.

Would you be open to a conversation about your first step? Send us a DM.

May 2028 is a planning target, not a guaranteed move-in date. Your timeline depends on project scope, permits and construction schedule.
