Still nowhere close to where I want to be. The work still has to be done. The empire still has to be built. The plan still has to manifest. But it’s a decade game. Step by step. by @jjraex

There are parts of myself I understand a lot better now than I did a few years ago.

Some I’m proud of. Some I’m still learning how to control.

I think becoming more honest about both has changed me. by @jjraex

It’s strange. I knew about personal development. I understood trauma. I knew the strategies, the language, the psychology behind why we become the way we are.

I could sit with someone for hours and hold space for what they were going through.

But somewhere along the way, I realised I didn’t really know how to do the same for myself.

I think there’s a big difference between understanding yourself intellectually and actually being willing to sit with what’s underneath it all. by @jjraex

We’ve done about 25 episodes with Beyond Boundaries now and if I’m being real, I still have a lot to learn.

I’ve had the opportunity to sit down with some incredible people from completely different walks of life, and every conversation makes me realise there’s still so much I don’t know.

I want to become better at listening, asking better questions, knowing when to go deeper and actually understanding the person sitting across from me.

The podcast is nowhere near where I want it to be yet. I’m nowhere near where I want to be at it either.

But I enjoy it. I enjoy sitting down with people and hearing how they think, what they’ve lived through and what they’ve learnt.

So I’m going to keep doing it, keep learning and see what Beyond Boundaries becomes.

25 episodes in. Still early. 🎙️ by @jjraex

Everything you’ve been through has shaped you. But it doesn’t have to decide who you become.

God knew you before you were formed in your mother’s womb. So your mistakes, your past and the things you’re ashamed of shouldn’t be an anchor...

What you’ve done doesn’t automatically disqualify what’s been placed within you.

Don’t let an old version of yourself become the ceiling over who you could become. by @jjraex

Sometimes you don’t realise what you’re actually searching for until you look back.

For me, I was on a journey of changing my life. I outgrew my old group of friends and somewhere in that transition, life got pretty lonely.

Without really knowing it, I think I started filling some of that space with validation from women. And the deeper I look at it now, I think some of it probably came from things I felt like I missed from my mother growing up.

I’m still understanding it.

Sometimes changing your life isn’t enough. You’ve also got to understand the parts of yourself you’re taking with you. by @jjraex

I spend a lot of time thinking about the man I’m trying to become.

Sometimes I forget to appreciate how far I’ve already come.

I’m not proud of everything in my past, but I’m grateful for where it led me.

Still hungry. Still becoming. Just learning to look back every once in a while and appreciate the distance travelled. by @jjraex

For a long time, I told myself I was doing the work.

The uncomfortable truth was, I was doing everything around the work except going deep enough to confront what actually needed to change.

You can talk about the seeds. But the harvest will always reveal what you planted. by @jjraex

I wasted too much time waiting to become good before allowing myself to be bad.

Perfectionism didn’t protect the quality of my work. It protected me from the discomfort of repetition.

At some point, you have to stop preparing to become and just become through doing by @jjraex

I spent years trying to fix problems that weren’t really problems.

They were beliefs I’d picked up, repeated, and eventually mistaken for who I was.

Looking inward made me realise how much of my life was being shaped by patterns I’d never questioned.

Sometimes, when you change the way you look at things, the things you look at change. by @jjraex

I used to think I needed more money, more success, more proof before I was worthy of certain rooms.

Looking back, that mindset didn’t protect me. It kept me isolated.

I was measuring my worth by what I had achieved instead of who I was becoming.

Sometimes you don’t need more credentials.

You just need the courage to show up before you feel ready. by @jjraex

Healing isn’t one-size-fits-all.

It starts with acknowledging what we feel and finding what genuinely helps us process it.

A powerful conversation with @jungleofspells on healing and finding your own path forward.
