my beautiful baby sister, the one who gave me the title of a big sister, there are truly no words to describe the pain everyone has felt since you left us. i never tend to question God or get angry with Him, but i just have so many questions, and ill never completely understand why He needed you more than we did here. if you knew Jaylen you knew that she was pure light. she was beautiful, brilliant, creative and so kind, she was so silly and she had the most infectious laugh. she was sassy and very straightforward about how she felt about anything. my favorite memories were from when she was younger, our movie nights, sleepovers where wed build our pillow forts, eat a bunch of candy and watch our favorite coryxkenshin youtube videos, so many rounds of just dance, nights where she just wanted my company and asked me to sleep on an air mattress next to her in her room staying up way past our bedtimes just talking. all of the fun trips we took together like to disney, and making our silly tik tok videos. we truly were best friends. my baby was growing into such a gorgeous young woman, she had just turned 17 and was in her senior year of high school. she worked incredibly hard and got straight A’s. she had big dreams of becoming an accountant, she even wanted to go to Penn State to be closer with me, (and lord knows we would’ve had a ball) my sweet sister you deserved so much more time and to continue to achieve all of your goals and live a long beautiful life. but you were called home, for reasons i truly will never understand. i just know you’re in heaven still creating the most beautiful art. i promise to you that everything i do for the rest of my life will be for you. i promise to keep going, to continue to honor your memory, and live life to the fullest for you. watch over all of us baby sister, ill see you when I get there. te quiero mucho, mi hermanita para siempre🩷🕊️ by @jknna._

having to talk about you in the past tense feels like an unreal reality i don’t want to be in. these past couple of days have felt empty without you here. i just want one more laugh, one more hug, one more “love you baby” id give anything for it. my grandma was truly the best woman i know. she always made sure we had everything we needed, and supported us through everything. she was always looking sharp and never left the house without the flyest dress on and her red nails and lipstick😭. she was always there to listen, if you ever had any tea to spill my grandma would be ready! her laugh was contagious, and she had the most beautiful smile, but one thing about grandma you knew she loved you when she fussed at you lol. cancer took a piece of my heart away from me, and i will forever be broken. but she fought as hard as she could, and never stopped smiling through every treatment. i made a promise to you right before i came back for junior year, that i would stay strong, and make sure i finish school for you. and i intend on keeping that promise. i wont let you down grandma. i know you’re up there in heaven having the best time, and i know this isn’t a goodbye, but a see you soon. my foxy roxy❤️. i love you forever and always. by @jknna._
