A really delicious print of one of my favorite pieces, Choking Iris. I love how you can see all of the texture from the original in the Giclee print and the Moab entrada rag paper is a stunning weight and texture. by @jllnelltt.art
It’s the last days of summer and I am already missing the beach 🏖️ Seaside is one of my favorite pieces I’ve made. I am a huge water baby and being in the ocean and lakes is where I find healing. There is nothing better than the weightless feeling of floating with your eyes closed in the sun. The Seaside hand embellished fine art print is a reminder of that feeling. #wlwart #queerart #beachart 9x12” image on 11x14” paper Hand Embellished giclée print on fine art Moab Entrada Rag paper In stock. Shipped flat. See FAQs here. What is a giclée print? A giclée (zhee-KLAY) print is an archival museum grade fine art print that, with care, will last for generations. A giclée print is made with specialized inkjet printers that use archival pigment based inks. The French word giclée was first applied to this technology by Jack Duganne, a California artist and photographer who wanted to distinguish his prints from inexpensive inkjet prints made with dye-based inks. Giclèe prints must be printed on archival materials such as Moab Entrada Rag (used for all of my giclée prints). This paper is a naturally acid free 100% cotton paper. It is a 290lb bleach and lignin-free paper with natural contrast and a high ink load with a beautiful smooth surface. The end product is the highest quality, yummiest print. by @jllnelltt.art
Dirty Pop series in baby blue, bright yellow, hot pink, and orange. Painted in bold color blocking to resemble screen printing with additional texture. This series was created in the middle of winter when I was craving the sunshine so I painted a warmer, brighter place. In her fine art, Jillian focuses on bodily experiences and dynamics. As a chronically ill, queer, and neurodiverse individual she explores the intersection of pleasure and pain, the joy and sorrow of existing outside of societal expectations and in a differently abled body. Bold blocking and bright colors create partially abstracted pieces influenced by her love of nature, floral career, and pop art. #popart #brightcolors #queerart by @jllnelltt.art
Oyster prints. Hand embellished with metallic gold ink and printed in small batches on Moab entrada rag paper. The oyster series is perfect for your kitchen walls. This series began as a photograph and then illustration of the best oysters I’ve ever had. Every Sunday while I was working in a chateau in the Loire Valley, we had stunning local green oysters from the market and I fell in love with drawing them.
