HOTELS WORTH KNOWING | ROME EDITION 🇮🇹 First up: Casa J.K. Place. A new Roman address that completely blew me away from the minute I stepped through the doors. Opened in May 2026, Casa J.K. Place is the newest addition to a hotel collection I’ve long loved for their style and hospitality, with beautiful properties in Capri, Rome and Paris (and Milan coming next!). After touring the property, I can confidently say this is one of the most exciting new places to stay in Rome. Tucked into an 18th-century palazzo in the heart of Rome, just steps from Via Condotti and a short stroll from the Spanish Steps, the location is hard to beat. What makes Casa J.K. Place so special? It manages to combine two things you rarely find together: the space, privacy and sophistication of a beautifully designed Roman residence with the personalized service, amenities and hospitality of a luxury boutique hotel. The 15 1-3 BR apartments are simply stunning — spacious, residential in feel and exquisitely designed by Michele Bönan, whose signature style is woven throughout the J.K. Place collection. Think rich fabrics and vibrant colors, custom furnishings and an incredible attention to detail. And the restaurant! I had my best meal in Rome this visit at the hotel’s Al 22 Bistrot, set in a gorgeous internal courtyard and an unexpected highlight. Perfect for families, couples or friends traveling together who love the independence of a private residence but doesn’t want to give up the comforts and hospitality of a great hotel, this is a new Roman address absolutely worth staying.
