I have been so incredibly moved this year watching the love surrounding my couples! I’ve honestly walked away from every single wedding reflecting on my own relationships and how important they are and will continue to be throughout my life. Sam & Lauren’s day was yet another example of a couple with such incredible support surrounding them, it was a real honor to witness 💓

post-proposal hotdog bliss!!!! many years ago, Carson and I were neighbors in dilapidated houses that are long gone and have since been turned into student housing, as is the Fayetteville way. We were both working in restaurants, having Tuesday afternoons or Thursday mornings free while the rest of the world was off at work. “I have a new idea for a shoot…” I’d text her, and within an hour she’d have found something to wear and we’d be taking photos in our Arkansas neighborhood that I’d romanticized into believing could pass for a quaint street in NYC. All these years later, Carson and Duke are engaged and I had the MOST FUN photographing & scheming the proposal and these absolutely fabulous night-after photos in the city they’ve called home ❤️ C&D 4EVERRRR by @joanna_creates
