🌟 NEW TEACHER ALERT! 🌟

Jocelyn Silk brings a passion for dance and a wealth of championship experience to every class she teaches. A graduate of Alma College with a B.A. in Dance and New Media Studies, Jocelyn spent four years on the Alma College Dance Team, serving as captain for her junior and senior years. During her time on the team, she helped lead Alma to seven NDA National Championships in Jazz, Hip Hop, and Team Performance—culminating in the program’s historic first-ever NDA Hip Hop Grand Championship in 2025.

Beyond her collegiate success, Jocelyn has spent the last three years traveling the state as part of the Universal Dance Association Staff, inspiring and training dance teams of all levels. She has also worked at top collegiate recruitment events, including the Varsity Spirit College Dance Team Combine in Illinois and the Tribe 99 Michigan Dance Team Combine, helping dancers take their skills to the next level.

Jocelyn’s teaching style blends technical precision with high-energy, positive motivation—encouraging dancers to push themselves, believe in their abilities, and love the process of growth.

Dear ADT,

This has been the best four years a girl could ever ask for. This team has pushed to grow as a dancer, as a teammate, as a leader, and as a person. This team taught what it means to be part of something bigger than yourself, to give absolutely everything you have to your team, because you love them, and you know they are going to give that energy back to you. I have had the amazing opportunity to dance and perform for longer than I can even remember. When I doubted myself, ADT came along and gave me the outlet to continue what I love to do.

To my amazing Coaches,
I could never thank you enough for all that you have done for me. You saw the potential in me and lifted me up, with so much love and care. Your passion for this team is unmatched, because of the love you show to each and everyone of us. While part of me wished that this could never end and that I could stay FOREVER, you two have also prepared me for what comes after and reminded me that I always have a home back in Alma. ❤️

To Team 9,

WE DID THAT!!! OMG WE LITERALLY DID THAT!! GRAND CHAMPS OMG!!! I could not ask for a better way to end my college career! I am so proud of every single person on this team! This team was truly relentless and unstoppable, no matter what challenges arose we alway bounced back better than ever. This team is truly so special it’s so rare to find such amazing people! Dancing with team 9 was truly such a gift and allowed me to build friendships that will last a lifetime.

I am so proud to say that I spent the last 4 years as a member of ADT. I will take with me all of the Laughter, Love, Friendships, and Memories with me forever. This is nowhere near a goodbye because this team is truly so special, and I will find every way possible to support the legacy of this team. (Let’s go team 10!) Thank you for every late practice, thank you for every band post, thank you for every late night pizza party, and thank you for the best four years of my life!
