Tears are filling my eyes as I try to find the words to write this to you. Processing and grieving the loss of a parent is something I hoped that I wouldn’t have to do for a long long long time. Dad, Dada as I always called you. I was your little girl. Wherever you were going, I always wanted to be right along side you. A true daddy’s girl. I remember when you would come have lunch with me at my grade school and people always thought you were my grandpa, and I would be so annoyed with those people. Lol You always made a point of coming to my choir concerts, walking me to the singing angel’s practices, coming to my track and cross country meets, and having movie days with me at home (something of the action, thriller, or sci-fi genres was always on the watch list) lol. You were such a sensitive and in tune with your emotions man. You were soft spoken, a deep thinker, and an amazing listener. But around your close friends and family, you were so charismatic and bubbly. Your laugh always made me laugh. I am going to miss talking to you, playing dominoes with you, watching movies with you as you fell asleep, and listening to music with you. You always told me that you loved me often and you always showed me through your actions that you loved me. 67 years on earth is what you were blessed with and I know you are at peace and will watch over all of us. I love you so much Dad, I will miss you forever my movie and music buddy. RIP, to the best father a girl could dream of. My dad, Jeffrey Delmar Perkins. 💙🕊️

Love your little girl, your youngest:

Is anyone’s service industry (restaurant) job hiring for servers at the moment? by @joceyap73

I feel lost, aimlessly walking with no goal or target in mind. Losing sleep, losing friends, losing patience. Another quantum leap that feels like a death calling. Lord give me the strength. 💔 by @joceyap73

What you need by Tems covered by yours truly, I don’t sound my best but resonate with this song the most rn. 😩💛🤍 #whatyouneed #tems #singingcover by @joceyap73

And just like that, another wedding in the books. My life long (almost 20 year) best friend is a WIFE. May God bless their marriage and give them a life full of joy, excitement and commitment. I pray that their marriage has the longevity to withstand every storm and overcome any mountain. What a beautiful married couple Rohan and Danielle make. ❣️🕍💍👰🏽‍♀️🤵🏽‍♂️💘 #mybestfriendswedding #indianhinduwedding #temple #indian #theytiedtheknot
