Also finished this piece for @coastlineartgallery who put together an invitational show of SoCal galleries. Was able to make and contribute two pieces for @scapegallery. I’m really digging this piece with the translucent resin, which allows the color of the wall to affect the piece. Exhibition runs through Nov 6. Untitled (Lucent Vine) - working title 2026 Cast tinted resin, paint, hand-braided wire rope, hardware 68” x 11” x 3”. . . #joedavidsonart #joedavidsonstudio #art #sculpture #losangelesart by @joedavidsonstudio

Yesterday was a full day of all things Joe Davidson—new work, good conversation, and 2 art installs. We started by “hanging out” (literally) at @coastlineartgallery where two of Joe’s freshly completed works joined our Crème de la Crème pop-up exhibition, featuring Joe’s work alongside works by Julie Easton, Eric Johnson, Scott McMillin, Andy Moses and Chris Richter. Next up, Joe sat down with Coastline’s weekly podcast team for an insightful conversation about his work. The day wrapped with the much-anticipated delivery and installation of a client-commissioned piece. From fresh work to thoughtful conversation to rewarding installations, the day served up a great cup of Joe! @joedavidsonstudio @julieeastonart @ericjohnsonstudio @scottmcmillinstudios @andymosesart @chrisrichterart by @joedavidsonstudio
Finally got this piece finished and installed at the Thomas Lavin showroom @the.real.thomas.lavin in Laguna Niguel @lagunadesigncenter Very happy with how it turned out. New color, and new direction for this series, and very interested to see where it takes me. Thanks again to Jeannie Denholm at @scapegallery for the opportunity, and the install time together. 🧡 As yet untitled 2026 Cast tinted resin, wire, hardware 72” diameter x 3” . by @joedavidsonstudio

It’s been a long break between posts (truly the dog days of summer). Getting back in the swing of things with this new piece just finished in the studio. It will be going in a showroom in Orange County, thanks to the amazing Jeannie Denholm at @scapegallery Updates to come. 🟠🔶🟠 And that’s Rigby on the floor! 🐕 As yet untitled 2026 Cast tinted resin, wire, hardware 72” diameter x 3” . . . by @joedavidsonstudio

Incredibly honored to be part of a new collection in Calabasas. The collectors are a couple starting over after losing their house of 50+ years from the Palisades fire. While downsizing they decided to design their new space around an AMAZING @johnpompstudios coffee table from @the.real.thomas.lavin They commissioned my multi-colored chromed wallflower piece for their living room, holding the space with that table. So humbled to be a small part of their rebuilding process, with the tight curation of the incredible @helenefreshpaintart of @freshpaintartadvisors 💙🙏🏼🩶 In Every Color There is Memory 2026 Cast hydrocal, chrome paint, wire, hardware 60” x 30” x 3” . . . #joedavidsonart #joedavidsonstudio #art #sculpture #freshpaintadvisors by @joedavidsonstudio
