Oh how the time slips by...Telluride Blues & Brews was almost 4 weeks ago!! ..alil late but this olde cat needs to stay true to his digital diary😸..in this life that is passing oh sooo fast !! ..so setting goals on my bucketlist is a priority, on my list was volunteering this year..it was a super cool way to help the community of Telluride put on this festival that takes a ton of work & commitment and it was alot of work ! however the people I met was oh so well worth it !! ..and eyem already looking forward to next years @tellurideblues to do it again😄One of the beauties of festivals is the power of the music that brings us all together in one accord and that is part of the blessing too ME !! ..here's just a small glimpse of days 3-7 of on a 19 day roadtrip to see my sister's in Nevada, Oregon & the Redwoods in California..more pics to follow of course😂🎵📸 by @joel.refined

Happy Heavenly Birthday Ashley...often when Im traveling pursueing life's adventures my daughter comes to mind..she had a zeal for life just as I do and I wonder how many of these adventures she would of loved to experience with me..I reflect on the memories we snowboarded together, laughed together & drank together..oh how I miss her..
She would've been 43 today if her life wasn't stolen from her in 2012..I know one day I'll be reunited with her,,and until then I'll keep chasing the sun and living this side of life to the fullest as the Lord provides.

My favorite season..
with colors so pleasin' too my eyes..
the scent of fall is in the air..
as i stare at those aspen leaves
my heart skips a beat.
and too my eyes
the colors make me cry.
Life is Good
as eye walk in the woods
the trees are swaying
and standing tall
once again its the call of fall.

A scenic slice of my life here at my lil ranch in southern coloRADo where time slows down and the cell signal drops and its time to disconnect and immerse myself in the beautiful solitude in this high desert section of the Sangre De Cristo Mtns

20 weeks ago a door opened for me to buy
5.5 acres in southern colorado, something that ive dreamed of, but thought would never happen!
I named my property after my Mom
= #RanchoRemedios .. its a very interesting piece of land bc its high desert w a ton of sagebrush however on the westside of it theres a
aspen grove that has a creek running through it!
...its pretty wild to think that its my place!
and my goal is to live here fulltime #offgrid one day ! I am a person of #faith and in my life ive been through some really dark times however I know that the Lord has blessed me for being patient & trusting Him in His timing... now I am forever grateful for this season of Life☝️
As I stood and watched this sunset strumming my guitar I had this feeling of pure joy flowing through me..its moments like that which are free that sets me free.

Yesterday was a day in the works..
over the past two & a half years
my younger grandkids have been waiting for,
and are now officially entering
a new season in there lives...
alot of times in this thing called life,
we dont have control over things
that happen..whether good or bad.
But we do have the opportunity
of the choices we choose in some cases.
Hence last year I moved to southern Colorado
to help with my amazing grandkids and its interesting how blessed my life became afterwards..my grandkids where dealt a extremely tough circumstance with there mom & dad
one they didn't choose..but as you can see in there faces, there is a love that shines!
I thank God that Lola & Harley have stepped into this huge responsibility and I hope and pray that the Lord will keep me focused on my share of
commitment for the love that I have for my grandkids as well ◇♡🕊♡◇
