Meaningful Connections Matter More Than Small Talk

In a digital world where people spend more time behind screens, building genuine relationships matters more than ever. Instead of spending time on endless small talk, focus on meaningful connections that make better use of your time and energy.

This summer I had the luxury of sitting down with Steve Steele on his podcast The Leaders Edge to discuss innovation, human connection, ancient wisdoms, healing, light energy, & ways to tap into our most abundant selves.

Let there be 💡

An internal mastery we can potentially pursue 🤔

What comes alive because of the way you choose to live?

The dreams you chase.
The courage you carry.
The energy you share.
The way you show up for others.

It gives permission for others to do the same.

Some of my favorite convos happen off camera too 🦁🐑 Had a great time with my good friend, Joel Puthoff. New episode is live now! Link in bio. by @joelputhoff

I asked him about building capacity vs. borrowing it. He gave me this instead. 👇

My guy Joel Puthoff, CEO & co-founder of Linxy, serial entrepreneur, and someone who’s personally trained 250+ entrepreneurs, sat down with me and got real fast.

He told me about the season he was so scared of missing payroll that he chose to sleep in his car for days rather than spend money on a hotel.

Not because he had to. Because his team came first.

Then he dropped one of my favorite lines of the whole conversation: “Choose your hard, or hard will choose you.”

If you choose an easy life, hard will find you anyway. So figure out your purpose, stay curious, and let it carry you through.

And after years of studying human optimization, sleep, exercise, gut health, all of it, you know what topped the list? 🤔

Quality, meaningful human connection.

This is why I do this show. Full episode is live now, link in bio. 🦁🐑 by @joelputhoff

Want to change the direction of your life? Start by looking at your lifestyle habits. 🔎

That’s what @_dcarrasco did and it led him on the journey of being authentic and honest with himself about his relationship with the drinks he was consuming.

Along the way, he discovered the powerful wellness benefits of adaptogens and was looking for a tasty drink that provided such. He didn’t find what he was looking for, so he created @alturabev to provide that need. 🦅

Altura Bev are delicious drinks to fuel any sort of gathering. While David was changing his own lifestyle habits, his decision planted the seed of inspiration for his community to seek alternative ways to enjoy healthy drinks as well. 🙌

You never know the ripple effect of one decision, and the inspiration & impact that it has on the people around you. Follow @alturabev to follow their journey, see what events they’ll be at next, and to try their line of alternative wellness drinks!
