🚨Tag her if you know her 🙌🏻

I did it twice not once and I really feel bad about it now🫣

But looking at it now she handled it very well and thank you 🫡

▪️I’ve done it 🫣🤣

1️⃣ Slowing down before stations to avoid blowing up❗️
People slow the run too much before hard stations like sled push for ex, end up stuck in a conservative effort the entire race. Train to keep a consistent pace from start to finish.

2️⃣ Leaving the ski damper on 6
Feeling fresh, pumped up and thinking that higher damper is more kms and higher S/M. Higher damper usually comes with more msucular fatigue for the same pace. Most athletes are more efficient around 3-5, where you can hold a consistent effort without blowing up.

3️⃣ Not taking your breaks early on sled push❗️
You push until your quads are screaming, then take a break. Breaking even if you don’t need to while you still feel good, means shorter breaks overall and faster total time.
Control your ego and take your breaks.

4️⃣ Not attacking burpees ❗️
Controversial one and people might not agree or don’t want to admit it.
You need to accept whether you like it or not that your HR is going spike on this station no matter what. Stay consistent, keep moving, find your momentum and get used to be uncomfortable knowing that row is your next station.

5️⃣ Running during farmers carry ❗️
People try to run to shave some time, a controlled speed walk is faster and more efficient. 1min Farmers looks good on camera but you don’t win this station by running, you win it by going unbroken and be able to run after it.

6️⃣ Running fast because you’re feeling good
Hyrox is a pacing game, a lot of pacing issues come from athletes not knowing what sustainable hard effort means. They blow up after the burpees and fall apart from there.
Lactate threshold pace: fastest speed you can hold for 40-60min without blowing up.
And if you are really fit you can but usually people/athletes run slower than the threshold in Hyrox races!
You need to test yourself, structured plan,
Train and teach your body to be efficient while holding that pace during your race🫡🔥

@clubmomentum.au Great facility to train at 🙌🏻
