Excuse the apathy, it’s 3 am by @joeybilotich

Nine months of prep later, I had been so focused on my physique and my success, relentlessly chasing this victory.

On the long drive to the venue, God reminded me why I started this journey in the first place… to show the western world what’s possible on a plant-based diet and to break the norms and myths surrounding it.

I had put very little internal emphasis on that until that moment in the car.

Then I felt a wave of emotion hit me, and I saw the image of a factory farmed baby cow staring me in the eyes with a distinct look of, “don’t forget about us Joey.”

That immediately hit me hard… What followed was 25 minutes of me sobbing, asking God for strength and the will to win this competition. “Please God, let me win this… not for me, but for them.”

From that point on, during the entire show, I felt a constant communication: “Joe, if I give you this Victory. I’m giving you the responsibility to carry out my will.”

And I listened. I knew it was going to be a battle, but I had this underlying sense of confidence that if it was meant to be, I would get this victory.

After a year of work and four rounds of finals posing, my name was called, and wave of relief hit me. I had just taken 1st in mens open and became a natural pro. While placing 8th in Men’s Open at the same show just 5 month earlier.

Right after I walked off stage an even stronger feeling of responsibility followed.

So my commitment: to you guys, to the animals, and to God, is to give nothing less than my all in this next chapter of life, serving humanity with as much truth (gnosis) as possible.

This is so much bigger than me. And I’m beyond grateful to have the opportunity to set an example, for the plant-based movement, for our generation of men, and for human consciousness as a whole.

I love you all. I’m here with you on this journey. by @joeybilotich

Like Scott said… “Don’t let them fool you”. Not only do the physiques speak for themselves, but all of these men are beaming with joy, energy, health, and compassion.

The highest version of humanity is vegan.

My story of what led me to veganism. by @joeybilotich

Comment or DM “Plant Based” and the guide will be automatically sent🙏🏼 by @joeybilotich

It’s so unfortunate. From childhood, we’ve been conditioned to go against our compassionate nature while being sold lies, that we need animal products to thrive, or that killing a dog is morally different from killing a pig.

I have faith in the next generation. Nearly every conversation I had ended in agreement that veganism is a moral obligation by @joeybilotich

So easy to grow, and absolute staple in my diet.

You're probably thinking, "What if you end up getting malnutrition sick?"

1. 2 years in, all my bloods look good. I know people that have been vegan for 50, 60 years plus and are still thriving. Plus all the data supports being able to thrive on a well-planned plant-based diet.

2. Even if I did struggle energy- and health-wise, I refuse to put a dead body of someone else in my mouth, and pay for their death… luckily I feel better than I ever have eating animal products for 20 years. by @joeybilotich

You can hide behind societal norms, religion, selected ignorance, but your soul can’t hide from the truth nor should you want too. by @joeybilotich
