Well, certainly not as “polite” as suggested. However, received MANY compliments and requests for photos. (Edgewater protest) by @john_capaul

Slightly over an hour in line at the Broadway Armory, but only 6 min to actually vote … because I did all my judicial retention reading ahead of time on InjusticeWatch.org (and the PDF printout matched the ballot order this year) by @john_capaul

"Please sir, may I have another treat?" by @john_capaul

Back when I lived WAY too far south, I bought very fancy kibble at a Plainfield pet supply store. In January 2014 when Hank & Gabby were almost three years old, the pet store was hosting a puppy adoption event and a professional photographer was shooting portraits. White eight foot back drop, three lights on tripods, the whole set-up.

Directly behind the camera, there were nine insanely animated puppies chewing on each other's ears and making a racket. This is the best of the portrait shots. Hank was in his pretty-boy best, posing perfectly for the camera. Gabby would not take her eyes off me, hence why it seems she's looking right at you with an unspoken "WTF, dude." She was giving the same sort of WTF side-eye when I first met her in June 2011 at The Buddy Foundation in Arlington Heights, watching Hank and his two sisters chew on literally everything.
