Some gore inside. Episode 4 had Bob and Rose fighting in the streets and here are some of the grim kills from that montage #getjiro by @johncodyclark
Pho chef. This guy gets his own post cause I liked him so much. #getjiro by @johncodyclark
See @jeromekmoore ‘s post, he did The Baker. I was handed her for the back and front face. And then I got to kill her. Also some other small bits of production for Bob during the fight scene. The Bob turns are from @jeromekmoore as well I think, I just drew on top of them. #getjiro by @johncodyclark
Some of the standout vegans apart of Rose’s gang. Flower head was mine. @jeromekmoore did Jerry and Freddie. I believe Freddie went through a bunch of passes and edits @hoekstraart . @jeromekmoore did the front 3/4 of Jerry and I was asked to do the back and a front face. Freddie I just added a skewer in the neck. Again, always a team effort and I’m thankful for the other designers. I learned a lot from turning @jeromekmoore ‘s characters. We have some more later on and I even got to kill some of them. #getjiro by @johncodyclark
These guys were incidentals for the fish market scene in episode 1 #getjiro by @johncodyclark
Ice Cream Daddies. Our big boy loses his eye. I think there were some edits to the socket after my pass. The second less buff dude was a hand off. Someone else did the front 3/4 and I did the back. Jiro was mostly handled between @hoekstraart and @jeromekmoore . I was asked to do some additions/edits and battle damage to some of these characters. So 99% credit to them for all the hard work they did. by @johncodyclark
The mayor and his girlfriend. I believe one of our freelance character artists did an incidental woman and I used that as a base for the mayors girlfriend #getjiro by @johncodyclark
Felt like we kinda cooked with the doc. We had a couple edits on his face to dial it in and I think that back and forth paid off #getjiro by @johncodyclark
Did a lot of cops on Get Jiro but these were the first two. @jeromekmoore started these and then I was handed them. They were touched again later on for the turns. But this was like first week on the gig when we were still figuring things out. #getjiro by @johncodyclark
These guys run with Louie but they kept their heads. No soy sauce! #getjiro by @johncodyclark
First two episodes of Get Jiro are out, maybe you've seen this dude in the trailer? As always thanks to @hoekstraart for the opportunity, I'm super appreciative that I got to work on it. @jeromekmoore and I did a ton of characters on this. Crazy to contribute in a tiny way to Bourdain's legacy, it was an honor for sure. This was one of the first characters I worked on. @adultswim @warnerbrosanimation by @johncodyclark
