No stranger to creating art for musicians and music venues, @jameskelleydesign really knocked this design out of the park for our last event!

We have a single (unsigned) poster available for anyone who missed out on it for the last event. Be first to comment, like, and share and it’s yours! by @jojosjointtn

Took me a few days to process what a special night last Friday night’s performance with @_womz @cartezz_ and @tojodojo (@futurebirds ) was!

We are so incredibly thankful for the band and also the amount (~170) of friends/BirdFam (new and old) who came over to spend the evening with us.

Our 2025 “March Madness” event was a piano-driven night of rock n’ roll with the gritty J Roddy Walston. 🎹 🎸

I was introduced to J Roddy Walston’s sound in the mid 2000s, then J Roddy Walston and The Business. I was hooked on their gritty, high energy, southern rock sound and had songs like Don’t Break The Needle on regular rotation.

Kicking off a dynamic comeback with a string of house shows, we were fortunate to land him here in our backyard in 2025! He dazzled guests in true J Roddy Walston style, banging out his earlier tunes on his piano and serenading us with new songs around a campfire on a crisp and cool spring evening, all while telling us stories about being on tour and where he was heading with new recordings and putting together a new band. by @jojosjointtn

We were thrilled to welcome Spencer Thomas to our home last fall, the first-ever house show on our (backyard) stage. And, we had the honor of a reprise Spencer Thomas performance this past spring in our living room.

Spencer is a singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist working on a new album and came to our house after recently recording The Joke of Life, which is a richly layered collection of songs full of sharp wit, working‑class grit, and soulful reflection—blending influences like Warren Zevon with his own deeply personal storytelling.

Spencer’s intimate house shows are warm, engaging, low-fi performances that highlight the raw sincerity of his songs. We were honored to host him as he brought that cozy magic to our place for the first time. by @jojosjointtn
