I pulled back up toJolly Burger OC pop-up in Costa Mesa, and it was hittin! I devoured two smash burgers (because one just isn’t enough), and got to try their new soy garlic fried chicken sandwich. So crispy, hella flavorful & definitely a new fave for me! If you’re around, don’t sleep on this spot! 🍔🔥 PAPI RATED ✅ #eatwithperris #jollyburgeroc #eat Which item sounded the best 2 you?!! by @jollyburgeroc

E I G H T /// smash burgers in Orange County we’d wait in line for again. Eight spots pressing thin patties onto a hot flat-top until the edges go lacy and crisp. Some have storefronts, some pop up at breweries, and every one earned its place here. The ones worth the line: 🔨 @hammer.burger: thin, cracker-edged patties that hang past the bun, stacked with house pickles on a potato roll. 🥟 @bangerlumpia: a smash burger from a lumpia crew, and a very good reason to order both. 🍔 @signsmashdburger: fully halal smash burgers, open late on weekends. 🎉 @jollyburgeroc: a no-fuss double with melty cheese that hits every time. 🍺 @elbrewjo: classic American burgers with Mexican flair, served at local breweries. 🧅 @lunchbang: a double smash loaded with caramelized onions, with fresh-cut fries and a house sauce you’ll want for dipping. 🍻 @brewkrewcatering: a brewery-side burger built to go with whatever’s on tap. 🍕 @riipizzeria: the pizza shop that treats its smash burger as seriously as its pies. 🎥 @_withdiane by @jollyburgeroc
It was great to return to the Old Towne Burger Fest as the 2025 People’s Choice champion and cook alongside so many talented local vendors. Congratulations to this year’s winners! The competition was fierce, but it was all love. 🍔❤️ Thank you to everyone who came out and to The Orange County Register for highlighting Orange County’s independent burger community. by @jollyburgeroc
Tomorrow’s Burger Fest entry is the burger that started it all for us “The OG Burger” Since day one, this has been one of our favorite burgers because it keeps things simple. No crazy toppings or gimmicks, just high-quality ingredients that work together the way they’re supposed to. THE OG House-ground smash patties American cheese Caramelized onions OG sauce Toasted potato bun Sometimes simple just hits different. BURGER FEST — TOMORROW 📍 Chapman Crafted Brewery ⏰ Doors open at 11 AM 🎟️ Tickets available online or at the door Grab tasting tickets if you want to try all of the Burger Fest entries without having to order every burger individually. Or keep it simple: pull up, grab a full burger from whichever vendor catches your eye, order a cold beer, and enjoy the day. We’ll be serving the OG that started Jolly Burger OC. See you tomorrow. by @jollyburgeroc
