No matter the size or complexity of the rig, we’ve got you covered! Here’s a recent small overhead condor rig we did for a period piece feature film. Let us know how we can help support your next film, tv, or commercial project! . . . . #gaffer #keygrip #gripandelectric #ohiofilm #filmlighting by @joncibella73
Here’s a few frames from a short film I gaffed a couple years ago called ‘Cybersex.’ The DP on this one was @wstrpp and we shot for two fast paced days. The crew was very small but we were able to achieve beautiful results! . . . . #Gaffer #OhioGaffer #FilmLighting #CinematicLighting #Cinematography by @joncibella73
Here are some stills from the short film ‘Beer Club.’ I gaffed this in the summer of 2023 for DP @paulmoore_dp and writer/director @nateshively. Had a great little crew and we all had a blast working on this one! You can see more of my work on my website linked in my bio. . . . . #Gaffer #OhioFilm #FilmLighting #CinematicLighting #Cinematography by @joncibella73
I’ve been going through some past projects recently to update my website (it’s live and you should go check it out, link in bio) and thought I’d toss some frames up here as well. These are from a feature I gaffed towards the end of 2021 called “The Housekeeper” starring @deniserichards. Had a great little crew and got to work with some fun new friends including DP @davidychung. It’s on Tubi, check it out! #gaffer #OhioGaffer #indiefilm #setlife #setlighting by @joncibella73
Here’s a selection of frames from a @stephenking Dollar Baby short film I had the pleasure of gaffing a few years ago. Had to work on a slim budget with a small yet fantastic crew but we were able to make some fantastic images over the week-long shoot. Lots of salt and pepper in this one! Major props to the camera wizard himself @mattpetrunak hire him to shoot your next movie! . . . . #gaffer #gafferlife #film #filmlighting #aputure #aputurelighting #arrilighting #setlife #gripandelectric #grips #electrics #griptruck #keygrip #griprigs @lightnuplighting by @joncibella73

Finally getting to post a few frames from a short film I recently shot around Pittsburgh. Had some fun on this one with a good mix of locations and lighting. The new Blackmagic generation 5 color science is 😍 Shot on my Blackmagic Pocket 4K with Rokinon Cine DS lenses and Black Pro Mist filters. More to come soon! . . . . #DirectorOfPhotography #DoP #IndieFilmmaking #ShortFilm #BMPCC4K #Cinematic #Cinema #SupportIndieFilms by @joncibella73
I reached my maximum boredom level yesterday and decided to shoot a few product shots for a fake Miller High Life commercial in my basement. With a few lighting tricks, I think this champagne really popped! Shot on Blackmagic Pocket 4K with Rokinon Cine DS lenses 50mm and 85mm @ T/2 + 1/8 Black Pro Mist. @millerhighlife pls hire me. . . . . #cinematography #productphotography #commercialphotography #blackmagicdesign #bmpcc4k #cinematographer #directorofphotography by @joncibella73

Here’s a few frames from a short I shot for a friend back in early January. This was my first time using the #bmpcc4k and Veydra Mini Primes. Not a huge fan of the Mini Primes, but they were able to produce some nice images. My gaffer @mrvisuals was a huge help and I can’t wait for the next one with him! . . . . #cinematography #cinematographer #directorofphotography #blackmagicpocketcinemacamera4k #veydraminiprimes #shortfilm #indiefilmmaking by @joncibella73
Here’s a couple frames from a recent short film I had the pleasure of shooting. No budget and tight spaces makes for a tough shoot. Really loving my new #bmpcc4k though. Beautiful images in such a small package! . . . . #indiefilmmaking #directorofphotography #cinematography #blackmagicpocketcinemacamera by @joncibella73
