“So who’s afraid that AI is going to take your job?” the host asked a room full of creative professionals. Surprisingly, not every hand shot up. This week, I attended an AI session for the creative industry hosted by the @oneclubsandiego. I laughed when one panelist said ads with fake AI people don’t perform as well as ads with real people. What sets you apart? Your humanity! Your taste, your critical thinking, and your intuition are what we need more of today. What a night! 🔥 Ignite at Outside The Lens was full of creative energy, honest conversations, and powerful connections. From the panel insights to the moments of mentorship, collaboration, and reflection, the room was buzzing with ideas and possibility. We saw new relationships form, creative paths get clearer, and confidence grow in real time. Huge thanks to everyone who showed up, shared space, and made it such a meaningful event—we couldn’t have done it without you. by @jonmerlin
