POSTS STORIES REELS

For me, music reigns supreme; it is not my choice but a path upon which I am directed. There is a particular kind of music, however, that has always called to me. That which is Real, and illuminates that which those around me either did not see or refused to.

I have felt alienated. I have contorted and stretched myself. I have gone it alone. But we can only climb so high alone, isolated on our various spires.

I now present the most recent culmination of my efforts, born of true friendship and hatred:

GODFUCKER

5 years of adventures, recording, and procrastination have culminated in the first album I truly feel speaks to me, and I have only one desire in releasing it: that it may speak to you.

On the worst day of the year:

November 1st

Midnight

…the harbinger of the wretched horror known as Daylight Savings Time, if it pleases you, consider listening to Godfucker on all streaming platforms! ;(

I want to sincerely thank the massive efforts and hearts of all those who have helped bring this to fruition.

Featuring:

Brendan Ward on Vocals, Guitar, and Various Instruments

Henry Vaughn on Drums

Jono Stewart on Bass

Skyler Caliby on Guitar and Vox

And also featuring:

Ayumi Ishito on Saxaphone

Melanie Cantwell on Trumpet

Eric Quinn on Trombone

Blake Hawley on Guitar

Recorded at Electrical Audio in Chicago and Various Holy Locations™

You will die.

May this bring you something in the meantime, my friend.

Thank you by @jonostewartsbigmistake

Just a nice moment playing duo with #danielrichardson the other day // singing words from Roberto Bolaño’s “When I Was a Boy” by @jonostewartsbigmistake

#socialdistancing studio update #1 - test kitchen sound experiments with some new gear //
🔊 Scorpio Rising - jsbm by @jonostewartsbigmistake

My personal view of social distance - it’s at least been nice outside // this is an old track of mine from 2015 called “You’ll Fly” by @jonostewartsbigmistake

Quarantine continues // This is a Stephanie Osmond track released a little less than a year ago called “Car to Building (Building to Car) Music” - the tune is about a small adventure across a parking lot between a parked car and a Walmart.
Eric Quinn - trombone, composition
Chris Klaxton - trumpet
Barry Saunders - tenor
Mike Effenberger - Rhodes
JAS - bass
Henry Vaughn - drums (and this sketch!) I’ve made physical cd’s for a split album featuring this music and the new Big Mistake record, as well as my first record “Post Millennial Click Bait” - both will be available shortly
