1948 Hongkonger riding a 1983 Chevy C20

“Ey Nono, pass me the keys”

Cash is trash, swaps are where it’s attt

The swap culture here in Mexico is so fresh. You’ve got something I want and I’ve got something you want. Boom done 🪄 So effective yet so alien now in western culture

I had a Jeep Cherokee that looked the biz but drove like a teapot with a loose handle. I cleaned it up and listed it on marketplace praying for a swap for literally any pickup in any condition. A week later I had the keys to this old farm truck, an 83 Chevy C20, clean as a hoot. I named him Derek after my grandad. That’s how I imagine living in the states was 50 years ago…

Mint watching Kimo, our friend and grandfather figure out here showing us how it was done back in the day. Good honest ripping 🌵🌵 by @jonotrucks

🪡 I bloody learnt how to sew and I luv it

You know that fuzzy humm you get in your tum when you locate a filthy little garment in a thrift store. If you’re partial to such rush of the adrenals, you might also consider customising some items from your own wardrobe. Thrill-seeking from your own home

Learn to sew (it’s so easy), mess around with fabric dyes, and find some killer fabric that you can chop up like table cloths, tea towels or scarfs. The best before bed activity going

🧵Here I take my light green denim cargos
🧵Spray a forrest green fabric dye by scrunching up the denim
🧵Cut out two green flower patches that I liked from an old couch cover
🧵Sew one on to repair a tear in my CROTCH
🧵Sew the other down the right leg for some continuity

Making wun-off garms that you are excited to wear from stuff on its way out is outrageously satisfying n highly addictive. More truck drip in the workz 🐴

F it, have a go #oneofwun

Let’s slow down the fashion industry

In a world of chaos and clutter, trying to notice all the things that bring me joy whenever I can. Appreciating this moment, Sunday cruising through the dunes in this dinosaur of a truck, at the southern most point of the 1200km Baja peninsula.

It’s so sweet to be able to offer our experiences to cool groups around this region of Mexico. Each event has been shaped by its surrounding environment. So with all of the insane landscapes here in Baja, It’s always a buzz to see where Lola and Lulu will be hosting next 🌴🌊🌵

I don’t think you’ll ever have an event quite as memorable 🦄
