If you look close, you’ll see a shooting star and green glow from the Northern Lights. This was a magical night where we saw so many shooting stars, commits and UFO’s, just sayin’ it was magical. #mtrainier #nightphotography #shootingstar #commet #ufo #northernlights #washington #fujifilm #xt3 by @jordan_sleeth_explore

Mt. Hood has been looking glorious this week. #fujifilm #xt3 #55230 #mthood #dappledlight #pnwonderland #johnsrudviewpoint by @jordan_sleeth_explore

This was the view from my tent for two days, while camping in the Enchantments, near Leavenworth, WA. If you haven’t been, it’s a must. Some might say magical. I’ll say it’s photogenic. Looking forward to new adventures this year.

Out and about with my camera, taking a leisurely hike in Washington Park last Sunday and made some images of this owl. I can’t take credit for spotting it, clearly it’s incognito. If it wasn’t for the kind hiker ahead who made mention of the owl, I’d of missed it. #owlfascination #portlandparks #oregon #pnw #owl #fujifilm #xt3 #55230 by @jordan_sleeth_explore

Washington Park is comprised of many beautiful spots, the Japanese Garden being one of them. This year fall has been long and spectacular which isn’t usual. Despite the tension in the air as election votes are currently being counted, I’m turning to photography to keep me mind busy. I hope you’re aware of what you choose to entertain.

I’m looking forward to getting out this next week to camp a few days. I need me some nature. With Coved being the new norm, I don’t get out, so I’ve been going through old images I’ve created over the years, which is fun... when you have time. #pnwonderland #pnw #oregonexplored #exploreoregon #sunnydays #nikonphotography by @jordan_sleeth_explore

Utah has so many wonderful national parks. All of which have unique characteristics. I always hear about Moab and the arches, but Canyon lands was one of my top 3 favs. #travelphotography #travelutah #canyonlands #getoutside #seeshit #nikon #d810 #1835 by @jordan_sleeth_explore

Posting this photo reminded me of the adventure that went along with this evening. Special thanks to Chad for helping make this night happen... magic colored flames, “L”, using my headlamp as if I were underwater, leaving all my batteries behind and meeting KJ & Bridget. #capedisappointment #oregoncoast #oregonsunset #pacificnorthwest #getout #costalcamping #costalsunset #sunset #nikon #lighthouse by @jordan_sleeth_explore

I’m always fascinated with how people live. Here in the US, we have it so easy, especially in comparison to Nepal. In this photo you can see the various terraces surrounding the house which makes living on a mountain side manageable. #begreatful #wegotitgood #moneydoesntbuyhappiness #nepal #pokhara #nikon #travelphotography #travelnepal #goodvibesonly #namaste by @jordan_sleeth_explore

The last shot of the night. On the salt flats in Utah. Taken a while back when exploring with my pal Brian. This exposure was almost an hour. Yes I tasted the salt. #utah #saltflats #nikon #d700 #1835 #longexposure #nightphotography #startrails #travelphotography #travelutah #utahnightphotography #northstar #stars by @jordan_sleeth_explore

My friend was told by another friend how to find this magnificent cave... and it wasn’t easy. The trail is off the beaten path and has been corroding for years so the park rangers don’t want to promote the spot in fear the trail will eventually erode away. Definitely worth the hike! #travel #utah #travelutah #falsekiva #canyonlands #nikon #1424 #d800 #landscapephotography by @jordan_sleeth_explore
