Life has a funny way of bringing us back around to the things that first sparked our curiosity and inspiration.

A little backstory: I actually went to school for Fashion Design and Product Development before a season in New York City stole my heart for marketing.

Getting to dress up and attend Kansas City Fashion Week alongside my husband and son felt like such a sweet, nostalgic full-circle moment.

I loved taking in the craftsmanship and passion behind every piece, but not as a designer anymore, but simply as someone absorbing the art of it all with the people I love most.

Will be posting more on this soon. But I think we cleaned up pretty great. 🤍

End of summer in Estes Park felt like a quiet reminder of what happens when we choose to absorb an experience rather than rush to document it. I am a solid 2 months behind on sharing, really anything at all. And I’m ok with that.

The cool mountain air with my cup of coffee in the morning, the sound of rain through the pines as we made our way down mountains, and the grounding feeling of just being there together with my loves, was the perfect way to end our summer before school started. There was so much that came out of this trip for us from a mental perspective.

1. Owning our own business has truly given us freedom to shut off and be present with each other.
2. WE CAN DO HARD THINGS. This was our motto through every hard hike that we did. We had moments of doubt in some of the paths we took and just like in life, we persevered and made it to the top.
3. I really love being a mom and a wife, who gets the blessings of sharing a beautiful life with these two. And time is precious. Moments are magical. And I want us to have many more.

I’m learning to be completely okay with huge delays between living something and sharing it. Life moves fast enough on its own, but time slows down if you let it.

I could live these moments over again a million times. ❤️ by @jordandanelleridge

Dear America,

You are the golden hour light on a wheat field and the neon glow of a city skyline, somehow both at once. You are grandfathers who fought for you and grandmothers who kept the home running while they did.

You are backroads and interstates, small towns and big cities, the smell of a summer grill and the sound of a marching band three blocks away before you even see the parade.

You have never been perfect. You have never pretended to be. But you have always been worth showing up for, worth fighting for, worth loving loud and often, even on the days it is hard to.

I love you for the freedom to build something from nothing. For the roads that let anyone chase a dream, no matter where they started or what that dream looks like. For raising generations to believe that where you come from is not a limit, it is a launching point.

Today I am grateful. For the ones who served so we could stand here, flag in hand, hearts full. For the land that raised us and the people who shaped us. For every star and every stripe.

Happy birthday, America. by @jordandanelleridge

Full disclosure: this was only my second time shooting a rodeo, but standing behind the lens at @bulls_bands_and_barrels something just clicked in terms of learning my camera more for this industry and I’m just so freaking proud of myself (AND THANKFUL BEYOND WORDS!).

@thunderridgenaturearena provided the absolute perfect backdrop, and I walked away feeling like I just produced my best work yet (I am so excited to share the photos!).

The grit, the speed, the crowd, I’m forever hooked. On to the next!

Sunlight, moving meditation, and a community rooted in joy.

A little look back at the Rise and Shine Summer Solstice Celebration with @ShineWithJoyFoundation this past weekend.

It was a beautiful morning spent honoring the legacy of Krystal Anderson by doing exactly what she loved—spreading joy and creating positive change. 💛

From the intentional outdoor yoga flow to the shared smiles and deep breaths, thank you to everyone who brought their energy to the mat and made this celebration so special.

Missed out or want to join the next gathering? Make sure to follow @shinewithjoyfoundation to see what is coming up.

My mom is the reason I know what love looks like. She was the safe place. The steady one. The woman who made being a mother look like the most sacred thing in the world, and somehow made it look easy when I know now it never was.

I think about her and reference how she raised all of us kids. In the quiet moments with Mason. When Colin and I are knee-deep in the beautiful chaos of building this life together. I wonder if I’m doing it right. I wonder if Mason feels as held as I always did. I wonder if my mom ever wondered the same things and just never let us see it.

Motherhood is always cracking me open in ways I didn’t know I needed. It has shows me my softest parts and my strongest ones. And every single day, I find myself reaching back for her. For the way she did it. For the woman she was, and still is.

If I become even half the mother she was to me, I’ll have done something right.

Happy Mother’s Day to my mom, the original. And to every woman out there mothering in whatever way her life called her to. ❤️ by @jordandanelleridge

Hi, I’m Jordan 👋🏼

Wife. Mom. Endometriosis advocate. Marketing agency dropout. Content creator. Half city, half country, all in.

I picked up a camera, built something real with my husband, and this is where I share all of it. The work, the life, the in between.

So glad you’re here. 📸🤍

Some days you feel like you've got nothing left and you show up anyway.

This journey is just getting started.

I almost didn’t hit “submit.” 🫣

As a creative marketing strategist and entrepreneur, I have spent my life building brands and telling everyone else’s story. But when it came to my own? I have been at a standstill. Unsure. And you know what… I am still unsure.

Growing up in the country, the rodeo always felt like home, but being on the other side of the fence with a camera felt like a dream I wasn’t “qualified” for yet. I’ve always loved shooting events, but I kept waiting for the perfect portfolio or the “right” time.

Then I saw @elizabethsinglesocial doing the damn thing and it opened my eyes.

The day before the American Royal, I decided to say screw it. I applied for a media pass, fully expecting a “no” since I hadn’t dabbled in this space yet. The next morning—the day of the event—I got the email. Accepted. I showed up nervous, excited, and slightly out of my element. But you guys… my cup is overflowing. And through every edit of photo (SO EXCITED TO GET THESE OUT THERE) or cut of video, I can’t stop smiling. There is something about the grit, the dust, and the raw energy of a rodeo that strategy just can’t touch.

It turns out, your “someday” can be today if you’re brave enough to stop asking for permission and just freaking do the thing that scared you, that lights you up.

I’m an entrepreneur but I’m also just a girl in the dirt with the camera. And feel like I am just getting started.

11 years since you came into this world and completely changed mine.

On the eve of your birthday, I asked you to do the “last pick up” trend with me. You laughed and played along… but for me, it wasn’t just a trend. Holding my not-so-little baby in my arms again brought me right back to the very beginning. The first time I held you. Your first smile. Your first laugh. The first time your tiny feet touched the ocean. Your first steps.

All of it came rushing back.

And it made me realize how sacred this season is. How every day with you feels like borrowed time, time I don’t take for granted. Time to love you fiercely, deeply, all the way down to my bones.

My sweet boy, you changed my life in the most beautiful way. You love big. You are silly and tender and kind. You are creative and thoughtful and strong. And most of all… you’re ours. What a gift that is.

We love you more than you’ll ever fully understand.

Happy 11th Birthday, Mason.

(And yes… I’m absolutely going to try to pick you up again next year. 😂) by @jordandanelleridge

Gratitude looks good on you friends. 🧡

Wishing our clients, partners, and community a Thanksgiving filled with good food, real connection, and moments that slow you down in all the right ways.
