Grateful is an understatement. Without these men, and without Tiger Schulmann’s, I’d be half the man I am today. Real gangsters. 🐅 #MobTies #Blessed by @jordanruffff

I could get used to this… by @jordanruffff

9 hard weeks with my nose to the grindstone. It all paid off. Best team in the entire world, I could not ask for a better support system. I had to go out there and represent. I owed this to myself for a long time. #1-0 #TeamTigerSchulmanns by @jordanruffff

Beware of sharks and wolves by @jordanruffff

“… so that his place shall never be with those cold and timid souls who neither know victory nor defeat.”

Now that the dust has settled…

If you’re close to me, you know how hard this camp really was. 12 weeks of commitment without a single day of wavering from the plan, combined with opponent changes and fight date changes. It got dark in there- it really did. As somebody who’s looking to fight as a challenge to myself, not as a career - I had to peel myself off of the ground a few times and remind myself that I have no quit in my blood.

Although my hand didn’t get raised, I think I learned more from this than I would’ve if I won. Life isn’t always going to go according to plan. If you know me, you know how much I sacrificed throughout the 12 weeks leading up to the fight. I truly feel in my heart that I did everything I was supposed to do in order to put myself in the position to get my hand raised - yet, I did not. That’s life. That’s the fight game, and I’m okay with it. Did I preform to the best of my ability? Absolutely not. But, the sacrifices I made and the road I chose is seldom traveled, and as corny as it sounds, I’m proud of myself for doing the work and getting in there.

For all who watched and supported me - thank you, and I hope you enjoyed the show. by @jordanruffff
