“Spider-Man: I thought I told you to stay home and watch MJ.
Frank Castle: Yeah, you did, and then she tells me I gotta come watch you.
Spider-Man: Wait, did she actually say that to you?
Frank Castle: Are you blushing, daffodil?”
- Spiderman: brand new day (2026)
Hello everyone! Hope you had a good summer. Here’s my seasonal collection of photos; not gonna lie to you, this post was dry on photos.💀 I should have taken sooo many more photos, but I genuinely did not remember to; too many days working on my project, and at the movie theater still an a-list member if anyone was wondering yes yes, you can hold your applause. Anyways, here is to the last year of my undergrad (it should feel sad, but I’m literally applying to graduate school at the same school, so really nothing’s changing), but enjoy seeing how my summer went, or at least 10% of it idk guys to be honest most of these photos were from this week lmao I promise it was a good summer I just took no photos. I just needed to post something today before im whisked away to marching band this Friday. Anyways, have a good fall! ALSO I did not keep those three avengers showtimes I’m not a maniac, only kept two of them 🧍🏽 by @jorgepalomoooo](https://scontent-iad6-1.cdninstagram.com/v/t51.82787-15/774042819_18123934708756977_5093799292175637377_n.jpg?stp=dst-jpg_e35_s640x640_tt6&_nc_cat=102&ccb=7-5&_nc_sid=18de74&efg=eyJlZmdfdGFnIjoiQ0FST1VTRUxfSVRFTS5iZXN0X2ltYWdlX3VybGdlbi5DMyJ9&_nc_ohc=X7UDVL8himgQ7kNvwENdmRY&_nc_oc=AdpuXb155CDaYX7UQTVd8CVlyervly-Y3Jgo7htYCneqTMlJW4jMPqX3sLM_Wm9pAWiBWsiUvRuoO97iAFR53icX&_nc_zt=23&_nc_ht=scontent-iad6-1.cdninstagram.com&_nc_gid=GAYiLtSvMwrI_uJnqV2uVg&_nc_ss=70689&oh=00_AQT8C_lNwTCi7viL5znGw1lyOEGfTr_M4MCJ9TA6UCu5-g&oe=6AF1BC2E)

“Rocky: You are very brave.
Ryland Grace: I don’t know about that.
Rocky: You are bravest human I have ever met.
Ryland Grace: Hey!
Rocky: Is joke!
Ryland Grace: I know.
Rocky: I only meet one human. And it’s you!
Ryland Grace: I get it.
Rocky: It’s good joke.
Ryland Grace: Good joke.”
Going through these past couple of months, I realized three things: one, I need to take more photos; two, I spend maybe a little too much time at the movies (AMC A-Lister btw by the way, hold your applause 🙂↕️ @amctheatres ); and three, this semester was a LOT of work.
I already knew number three, but the reminder was helpful. For every moment I thought it was too much, and for every moment I felt like I was in over my head, there were small moments of joy that kept me going, like I was headed for the moon. The chance to present my research at the American Historical Association Conference was the honor of a lifetime, it was incredibly rewarding to be recognized for the hard work, and if anything it gives me more reasons to keep pushing along. Keep going! I promise it’ll be worth it in the end!
Chicago was such a beautiful city and very welcoming, I can’t wait to go back and experience it all over again. Thank you Ryan and Elin for coming with me, you made the trip so fun and I’ll always cherish the memories (even if we made mistakes on the way lol) Thank you to everyone who made this trip possible, I wouldn’t be anywhere close to this without everyone’s support. Thanks again! And go Bears! I can’t put into words how much this semester has taught me and how much I enjoyed it even though it was the busiest semester yet. Thank you to everyone in SOH who made this season better than the last. I will always cherish these last two years, and we’ll see what’s next! Thank you to John, Ethan, and Alec for taking me in and giving me a rejuvenated love for marching band that I didn’t know I could have again. And to my friends from high school, thank you for still being there even if we see each other a little less, but we still make time for Chili’s trips. So many friendships can come and go, but there are those people you know you’re going to have around forever, and I’m so grateful that so many of you are in that category. So much is uncertain about what’s next since that’s life! But I’ll always have these last two marching seasons to remember. Onto the next semester! Go Coogs! ❤️🤍🐾 (I’ll take more pictures next year! I’m so sorry if you weren’t in it—remind me to take pictures with you next semester 💀) by @jorgepalomoooo](https://scontent-iad6-1.cdninstagram.com/v/t51.82787-15/608196814_18101382172756977_8629707542565146623_n.jpg?stp=dst-jpg_e35_s640x640_tt6&_nc_cat=109&ccb=7-5&_nc_sid=18de74&efg=eyJlZmdfdGFnIjoiQ0FST1VTRUxfSVRFTS5iZXN0X2ltYWdlX3VybGdlbi5DMyJ9&_nc_ohc=uJBjbr0oriEQ7kNvwGGaRil&_nc_oc=Adp69Y0GPkYVyD6ndm5PScmWEgTIMnAS7UclJMQosX72nSuVufvV1TrNC2_NCqvWkiVL8NWgnk3V8pFSWlgt4H1y&_nc_zt=23&_nc_ht=scontent-iad6-1.cdninstagram.com&_nc_gid=GAYiLtSvMwrI_uJnqV2uVg&_nc_ss=70689&oh=00_AQQU63quPHSZPKalYKkFAJ9UbbFP99d2tdp2oGWJw4tTuQ&oe=6AF193A7)

Ty to everyone who’s made the semester so great! College can be frightening but yall made it a home and I’ll never forget it :) and ty to everyone back home who kept pushing me to keep going through the long nights of studying or refraining from buying dumb things on Amazon. (Even though I bought lightsabers at Disney but they were Ashoka’s lightsabers so it’s valid and I’ll argue that till I die) by @jorgepalomoooo](https://scontent-iad6-1.cdninstagram.com/v/t51.82787-15/656283121_18093572681025850_2485209108831558139_n.jpg?stp=dst-jpg_e35_s640x640_tt6&_nc_cat=106&ccb=7-5&_nc_sid=18de74&efg=eyJlZmdfdGFnIjoiQ0FST1VTRUxfSVRFTS5iZXN0X2ltYWdlX3VybGdlbi5DMyJ9&_nc_ohc=1YP5yMFeDQcQ7kNvwEkfgsz&_nc_oc=AdrLCV9ugkbXUzcUt3dBPksRYpFbf3KHe8OyMYN4bWvgOIKB8Var1Zu7Ejw4eIqSWsPVU3OLEaMegaSERqgwEp-g&_nc_zt=23&_nc_ht=scontent-iad6-1.cdninstagram.com&_nc_gid=GAYiLtSvMwrI_uJnqV2uVg&_nc_ss=70689&oh=00_AQQESx21w_ICUuQZgTEv_qoSUYfHu-skU8MVEojxcfcYBg&oe=6AF1A2C8)
