The next athlete to be confirmed is one of our most exciting young talents, Jorys Maillot.

Competing in the junior category, Jorys comes from the island of Réunion and is already showing exceptional potential at the highest level.

In 2025, he claimed 3rd place in the 1000m at the European Championships and secured two top-10 finishes at the World Championships, proving he can compete with the best in the world.

We strongly believe in his qualities and his future, and we’re proud to support him as he continues his development. by @jorys.mlt

European Championship 2026 🇪🇺🇮🇹 :

My last European Championship as a junior comes to an end.

I’m back at home with a bronze medal on the 500m and a lot of good performances during the championship. But one thing stay on my mind and on my lips : is not enough.

My results are not what I was expected for. But I think I did my best to represent my country.

I don’t know what’s next, but I know one thing, the next will be harder, harder than I’ve ever seen before. And I will be ready to work harder than ever to achieve my goals.

But at the moment, I need to breathe and to spent good times with my family. To recharge my batteries and clear my mind.

I want to thanks a lot my club @rollersportsdionysien , my team @reunioneuropeteam , @pole_bretagne_roller and @coach_morvan for allowing me to become the athlete I am today.

I don’t know what will happen soon, but I will continue to dream, always. Because it’s what I like. That’s why I work.
