Been thinking about coming in?

This is your in. ⛽️

The combine is $99–$199/athlete depending on how deep you want to go, way less than a full 1-on-1 assessment, and you walk out with a detailed Performance Report that tells you exactly where you stand compared to your sport/position at the High School/D1/JUCO/Pro level. 🚦📊

From there, you’ve got options:
→ Summer groups with @coach_fleming55 (CSCS) kick off May 22. Sport-specific. @hawkindynamics Force-plate tracked. Foundational group work to elites pushing each other.

→ The Elite Hour — show up M/T/Th at noon, workout’s on the screen, Dr. Josh is on the floor. Train with other serious athletes and D1/JUCO’s in town for the summer.

→ If something’s been nagging — pain, injury, not moving right — @fitbyfaith.pt has availability for evals.

One day. Four sessions. May 30.
📍 214 Commerce St · Kingsport, TN

The training never stopped.

It just didn’t have a competition for it all to be tested.

Until now.

The Tri Star Triple Crown.

📍 July 18, Kingsport FunFest.

Speed. Power. Strength. Endurance. Six events. One score. One crown. 👑

This isn’t a fitness competition.

It’s about finding the best athletes in the Tri Cities. Certified killer. Former D1 to current athletes. No age groups.

50 spots. $50 early bird through May 30.

✅ Registration + waiver 🔗 link in bio.

The most complete athlete in the Tri-Cities gets crowned July 18.

Think that’s you? 👇
Comment CHASE THE CROWN if you are in or tag a killer who would throw down. 🤙

Most programs guess.
We don’t. ❌

We test. 📊
We track KPIs.
We adjust—daily. ⚡️

Using @ovrperformance VBT and Jump, we control intensity, manage fatigue, and build strength, power, and speed with purpose. 🚀

No burnout.
No wasted reps.
Just results.

In-season? Stay healthy. Perform when it matters.

Built for athletes in Johnson City, Kingsport, Bristol, and across the Tri-Cities—and available anywhere with remote coaching. 🌎

We’re growing the team. ⛽️

One seat. One DPT.

Someone who wants to build something — not just show up, see 3-4 patients at a time, no squat rack, dumbbells only up to 15lbs, and zero mentorship.

At Tri Star you get:
✅ 1:1 full-hour sessions, every time
✅ Sports science tech — force plates, VBT, timing gates, dynamometry — real data, real outcomes
✅ Mentorship and hands-on training for cash-based PT
✅ A facility where we treat like we train
✅ Autonomy and a flexible schedule

‼️ Active Tennessee DPT license required. Brownie points for CSCS.

🏋️‍♂️ You must train. HARD. Non-negotiable.

Link in bio to apply. 🔗 Takes 5 minutes.

All Gas. 🤙

⚡️Dad Bounce Training + @john_fulkerson

Goal: Dunk by 33rd Birthday in November… bet. (As the kids say) 🏀😎

Gameplan to Throw it Down:
⚡️ Power Output: Lift Heavy. Move Fast.

🚀 RFD: Faster force = higher flight.

🛑 Decel RFD: Strong brakes = safe landings.

🌀 Elasticity: Plyos + med balls + speed-strength = bounce.

By November, it’s either Cram City or my son (and my athletes) roast me forever 😂👨‍👧‍👦.
Either way… science wins.

⚡️ Don’t do rehab with a PT who can’t do the damn thing. by @joshdavis2

If you had to create your replacement in life, your Superman, what traits would they have?

This is a question posed to my Mastermind group from @ptbiz by @jerred.moon

After thinking about this numerous times, my first thought is Superman is SuperDad.

To me, this means being a role model to my son on many levels.

Being present, not just there.

Being strong, not just physically.

Being resilient, able to endure hard times.

Being patient and attentive.

Being adaptable, not just creative.

This also directly applies to being a spouse, being a solo business owner, being a friend, being a teammate.

Longevity in this game called life is solely just being available.

You don’t to be the strongest person at the gym, the highest grossing business in your arena, the smartest person in your class.

You just have to CONSISTENTLY put in HARD WORK and GROW EVERYDAY.

I don’t just “work out.” And neither do our clients.

We know OUR WHY. This means WE TRAIN for something.

For me, I WILL OUT RUN, OUT LIFT, OUT JUMP my son until he takes that mantle from me. I WILL NOT HAVE TO SIT DOWN BECAUSE I AM TIRED, WATCH HIM PLAY CATCH WITH SOMEONE ELSE BECAUSE MY SHOULDER IS KILLING ME, HAVE SOMEONE ELSE CARRY HIM AROUND AT DISNEY. NOT AN OPTION.

Until then, keep growing little man and watch DaDa.

Throw ⛽️ Drop 💣 by @joshdavis2

All gas. No brakes. ⛽️

I have learned to lean on loved ones as a father, husband, friend, PT, business owner, Strength Coach when times are difficult.

Life is hard. You’re not alone.

All we can do is control the things we can, pray, hustle, trust the process, prepare, and take the leap.

Change is uncomfortable. You have to love it.

BIG THINGS ARE COMING 👀👀👀
