It’s a surreal and humbling experience to have any of your wildest dreams come true. Having several come to fruition in the same year is truly beyond comprehension. But I should have known that if anyone could help me make that happen, it would be the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles.

With this new comic series, I’ve gotten the opportunity to reimagine my favorite @TMNT character, the Fugitoid, and bring him into the world I’ve lived in for the past five years. It’s a deeply personal story about learning to believe in yourself, wrapped in an action-packed, radical, turtles adventure.

“Thank you” does not begin to cut it, but thank you from the bottom of my heart to @jeffwhitman917, @b0pqween, @steamboatnikki, @versus_yost, and @awancorp at Paramount/Nick for trusting me with this task. Thank you to @ellenboener for being an amazing editor and helping to make this the best story it can be. And thank you to @roweyourboatz for seeing me as more than just a dude that’s good at putting scripts into green binders.

I’m ecstatic to be working with @louiejoyce whose work consistently blows me away and @pbchalky who’s doing our amazing covers! And so glad to be sharing this series with @mikeylevitt who’s written an amazing first arc!

There will be more to share in the coming months, but until then, cowabunga!!

It’s New York Comic Con week! 🗽

I’ll be around for a couple hours on Thursday and all day Friday, wandering the Javits Center, recruiting brave souls to join the resistance against our evil Triceraton overlords. ✊🏻

Wait….

….is this the right timeline? 🤔⏳

As someone who’s spent countless hours in the graphic novel sections of many Barnes and Nobles over the years, this is absolutely blowing my mind.

Signed some copies at the Bookstar location in Studio City if you’re in the area! 🤙🏻 by @joustragram
