Breaking Down One Of The Best To Do It… @shoheiohtani ⚾️ by @joycer247

Goodbye Baseball, The Ultimate Roller Coaster! Well, At least to my playing days…
👋🏼⚾️

This game is filled with so many struggles, failures and frustrations through a season, let alone a full career. But all those heartaches are worth it for those brilliant and special moments that a player and fans never forget.

Thank you fans! Without you there is no big league dream for us players. The games wouldn’t be the same without you in the stands (Covid Games Were Not It). Your cheers motivated me, your support kept me going, and your letters made me realize the impact that we could have on peoples lives.

Thank you to my teammates, the ones in the trenches alongside me. Going through the daily grind with you guys made the toughest days just a little easier knowing I had someone who could relate. I will miss all the bus rides, show dinners and celebrations with you guys the most. 👊🏼

Thank you to my family, for cheering me on through the ups and supporting me through the downs, and raising me to be tough enough to continue fighting for my dream. I wouldn’t be where I am today without you.

And of course my beautiful wife. Thank you for leaving everything behind to build a new life with me, for believing in me every step of the way and always being by my side no matter what. 😘 by @joycer247

MLB All Star and 14-year pro, Matt Joyce is on the clock! Hear why PAC and events like Proximity offer pros like @joycer247 an opportunity to connect and grow beyond the game.

As one of PAC's earliest baseball voices, Matt has been pouring into the community for years and supporting fellow athletes in their next chapters. We couldn't be more proud to call him a member of the PAC family!

One sentence from my dad changed everything.

I was 12 years old sitting at a Rays game. My dad looked at me and said, “That could be you out there someday, but you gotta want it.”

That one sentence painted a picture so clear I could see myself on that field. I chased it for 15 years.

Those words carried me through the lowest moments. Hitting .190 in Double A. Crying in my bed. Wanting to quit.

When I got called up to the big leagues, I called my dad first. He said, “You deserve it. Go show them you belong.”

My daughter is 9 now. I think about what words I can give her that do the same thing.

You never know which sentence becomes someone’s whole future. Choose your words carefully! ❤️

The reality is Most startups fail.

And when athletes walk away from the game, suddenly everyone wants them in their deal.

You get invited to meetings, dinners. Introduced to founders. Sent pitch decks. Everything sounds like the next big opportunity.

But writing $25K, $50K, or $100K checks into individual early-stage companies is one of the fastest ways to burn through the capital you spent your entire career building.

If you want exposure to venture, understand the game: venture is a portfolio business, where it should only be a small % of your portfolio.

Invest alongside an established fund or team with a proven track record - one that spreads capital across 10 - 20+ companies, knowing most won’t become home runs.

You don’t need every investment to win. You need enough diversification for the winners to matter.

Protect your capital first. You worked too hard for it to treat investing like a casino.

Officially a Signature member of PAC and I couldn’t be more fired up about it! 🔥
Being an athlete is the greatest gift — and one of the hardest identities to carry through every season of life. But the game doesn’t always prepare you for what comes next. PAC does. @ProAthleteCommunity is building something that didn’t exist when most of us came up — a verified, for-athletes-by-athletes network that actually moves the needle on careers, relationships, business, purpose, all of it. Active players. Transitioning players. Legends. All in one room.
This community is changing lives. I’ve seen it firsthand.
Let’s go! 🤝

You won’t find this lineup anywhere else. Introducing Pro Perspectives, a featured panel series at PAC Accelerate.

Former pros from across the sports world, C.J. Watson (NBA), Justin Forsett (NFL), Marissa Coleman (WNBA), and Matt Joyce (MLB), come together for a conversation shaped by their lives during and beyond sport.

This is just one of many high impact conversations happening at PAC Accelerate. by @joycer247

Always great to see some familiar faces!
Big shout out to the @mlbpa for hosting a great event and bring it together some legends of the game.

Words can’t describe how special this group truly is…

What we’re building at PAC isn’t just a community — it’s a brotherhood. A launching pad. The next locker room for athletes who’ve poured everything into the game and are now ready to dominate the next chapter.

From the field to the boardroom, this community is stacked with purpose-driven leaders committed to growth, legacy, and lifting each other up every step of the way.

Beyond grateful to be part of the mission 🙌🏼
Basketball up next! 🏀

I think we are all looking for those things that light us up… the things that give meaning and purpose to our lives.
We want to find the people that we resonate with, the ones that empower us and inspire us to become more than we are.
I can honestly say, I have found that with @proathletecommunity. I believe whole heartedly in PAC’s mission to assist Pro Athletes in relentlessly pursuing the next phase of their life through education, networking and building a one-of-a-kind community that supports one another.
Truly grateful & honored to lead charge on the @mlb side and help develop the leaders of tomorrow. We’re just getting started!! 🚀💯 by @joycer247
