๐Ÿ’™ Can you CUDDLE an ALLIGATOR ๐ŸŠ? โœ๏ธ Karly Olivieri @karly.olivieri.author Dax is ready for a bigger cuddle buddy, and his imagination has some funny ideas! ๐Ÿฆ–๐ŸŠ๐Ÿฆ”๐Ÿฆˆ๐Ÿ™ This book made me smile because kids are so funny that way. One minute, they want to be BIG and independent. The next, they want all the cuddles in the world. Manit was instantly drawn to the beautiful blue theme (his favourite colour) & the adorable animal illustrations. This is a sweet, playful read for little ones who love big adventures and bedtime cuddles ๐Ÿซถ. Thank you @karly.olivieri.author for sharing this lovely book with us! Since we love our cuddles too, this story was extra special to us ๐Ÿฉต๐Ÿ’™ by @joys_of_parenting
๐Ÿ“š Here are two of our weekly reads from our local library: ๐Ÿ“– Hello Hello Opposites By : Brendan Wenzel A fantastic book for learning opposite words with highly-engaging illustrations! โš ๏ธ Jump-scare alert: Manit's dramatic acting for each opposite might catch you off guard!๐Ÿ˜‚ ๐Ÿ“– One Mole digging a Hole By: Julia Donaldson & Nick Sharrat Uses playful rhyming phrases to introduce early numeracy in a fun and engaging way! #kidsbooks #bookstagram #bookreviews #childrenpicturebook by @joys_of_parenting
๐Ÿ“– The Gnome with No Name โœ๏ธ Katie Ford ๐Ÿ–Œ Emma Carpenter ๐Ÿ’š This beautifully illustrated book is a gentle reminder that life isn't meant to be lived safely on a shelf. The story beautifully celebrates play, imagination, and all the little bumps that shape us into who we are with the help of an adorable gnome (the main character). โค๏ธ Manit loves revisiting this book and now happily "reads" it in his own words just by looking at the illustrations. ๐Ÿ’› A wholesome story that reminds both children and grown-ups to embrace curiosity, connection, and a life fully lived. ๐Ÿ’™ We highly recommend it to all the play-loving families out there. ๐Ÿ’œ Thank you so much Katie for sharing this amazing and meaningful book with us. We absolutely love it. ๐Ÿฅฐโœจ๏ธ by @joys_of_parenting

โœจ๏ธ Activity Count - 216 We tried this fun challenge with Manit. First, he had to close his eyes and try touching his index fingers together. Once he mastered that, we leveled it up : closing the cap on a sketch pen while still keeping his eyes shut. It turned out to be a fun and interesting activity for him. โœจ๏ธ Here are 4 developmental benefits of this simple activity: 1. Body Awareness (learning where our body is in space) 2. Bilateral coordination - using both hands together with control. 3. Focus and patience - staying calm and concentrated while completing the challenge. Please follow @joys_of_parenting for more such simple yet beneficial activity ideas ๐Ÿ’ก #joys_of_parenting #kidsactฤฑvฤฑtฤฑes #bilateralcoordination by @joys_of_parenting

25 Fables - for fun quality time! ๐Ÿ“– Book Review: 25 Fables around the world, wrapped in a beautiful vintage feel. This new vintage edition made the stories even more nostalgic and heartwarming โค๏ธ Manit loved the coloring pages and the counting activities and proudly signed his name on the very first page ๐Ÿ˜€ His favorite story - The Tortoise ๐Ÿข and the Hare ๐Ÿฐ - Thanks to his recent zoo visit ๐Ÿซถ Thank you to the publisher @fablereads_com for sharing this adorable storybook with us. ๐Ÿ“– Book Review: Leo Starts a Conversation ๐Ÿ’ญ Some stories arrive just when you need them, and 'Leo Starts a Conversation' was that story for us. At a time when Manit was learning how to build friendships at preschool, Leo's journey felt incredibly close to home ๐Ÿฅฐ In this beautifully written and interactive book, Leo takes a brave step to talk to someone new at sports camp. Through his thoughtful approach and courage, kids learn practical ways to start and carry conversations, a skill that can feel so big when you're still so small. ๐Ÿ’Ÿ Why We Love It: โœจ Encourages kids to take that first step toward friendship โœจ๏ธ Audio playback buttons bring the story to life, allowing the little ones to hear the characters' emotions and solutions โœจ Promotes independence and social-emotional learning through play It also comes with two thoughtfully designed handouts, one that gently builds social skills and another that encourages children to make inferences. Highly recommended for any little heart navigating the world of friendships ๐Ÿซ‚ Many thanks to @bighearttoys for sharing this gem with us โค๏ธ #bookreview #joys_of_parenting #bighearttoys #bookstgram by @joys_of_parenting
