You know what’s really spooky? Not knowing your voting rights! 🎃🗳️ At our recent Reclaim Your Vote Townhall, we brought the community together for real conversations about voter education, the issues that matter, and the power of being informed. Because the only thing scarier than Halloween is showing up to the polls unprepared. Know your rights. Make your plan. Let your voice be heard on November 3! 🗳️ by @joythefeeling
A look at Eastside Charter students in action! Students explored the history of drones, learned key vocabulary, and worked in teams to put their piloting skills to the test. At the Metropolitan Wilmington Urban League, we believe hands-on learning experiences like these help youth develop essential skills, discover new possibilities, and build a strong foundation for future success. by @joythefeeling

We recently wrapped up our 10th community listening session, hosted by an incredible group of organizers in Dover, DE. Around 30 neighbors joined us with thoughtful questions and insights on how funds from the Opioid Impact Fee Fund should be distributed in the coming years. While these gatherings bring people together, they also hold immense pain, memory, and heartbreak. The opioid epidemic has deeply impacted so many of our families and neighborhoods. Yet, in every room we step into, there is also an undeniable spirit of resilience, curiosity, and shared commitment to healing. 💙 📸 A special thank you to the incredible @joythefeeling - whose photos capture the humanity of the room so beautifully. We are officially one-third of the way to our goal of holding 30 sessions by the end of the year! Thank you to everyone who has shown up, gave feedback, and helped guide this important work. 🙏 by @joythefeeling

Congratulations to @hbcuweek on 10 incredible years! Every year, I find myself reflecting on how different my own journey might have been if I’d had access to an experience like this. At the same time, I’m so grateful and excited knowing my children will have access to the information, resources, and opportunities I didn’t. It’s been amazing to witness the growth and impact of this foundation over the years. Here’s to 10 years and many, many more. 🙏🏾✨📸 by @joythefeeling
