Mindful Monday: Appreciate every opportunity to operate in your gifts. You never know who is watching😉
I had to share this video that popped up from Miss USA 2019 when I was touching up this beautiful texture updo I had done on the incomparable @kalieghgarris just after she had won Miss Teen USA 2019 while the beautiful Miss Universe 2019 @catriona_gray was watching the prelims right next to us! Most recently she judged the 2024 Miss Teen USA pageant! Wow, so many amazing things have happened since then but I’m so grateful for each and every opportunity that I’ve had in my career! This one opened up some many other doors!
More amazing things to come! Stay Tuned…

Thoroughly enjoyed myself representing @myavanahaircare at the @felicialeatherwood Root Therapy Book Tour at @kekoareservecellars 🍷☀️📚

I provided Hair Scope Consultations for the guests & helped them get greater insight to the health of their hair. We were vibing so high it ended up an impromptu Singing/Spoken Word moment ✨

Thank you @brandiekekoa and family for hosting us in your beautiful winery 🍷

Felicia, You are a Crown Jewel! 💎 Thank you for sharing your gifts with the world!

So blessed our paths crossed and looking forward to beautiful things in the future!!!

Sometimes our curly clients don’t want a bunch of volume at the top.
They just simply want to be able to manage the beautiful volume that already exists!
She said it’s too thick and too heavy, but I don’t want a bunch of short curls on top of my hair.
I said Bet!
I went in removed some of that weight and gave her a beautiful shape that gives her versatility in her hairstyles 🙌🏽

This week’s affirmation:
“I am not responsible for grown people’s problems.”
Whew. 😮‍💨 Sometimes the healing is realizing you can love people without carrying their problems, fixing their mess, or managing their emotions.

Their life is their responsibility. Your peace is yours.

Fly High King Dom!! @kingdomofcurls_ 💔🙏🏽
You ARE still such a light in this Universe.! Nothing will ever change that. Each and every time we saw each other it was hugs, love and laughter! You truly inspire me along with multitudes of people around the world. I remember our first moments spending time around each other backstage at @texturevsrace . We were already vibing and then we discovered that we’re both Aquarius ♒️ and it was up from there!🤣

You said to me “I could listen to you talk all day, your voice is so soothing” to which I replied I had just released music and I was excited but nervous about it. You assured me that it would resonate. And even though I had just met you- I fully believed you 🙌🏽

That was your way- supportive, creative, caring, a bit shy towards the limelight but completely GENIUS! You even used one of my songs to open a stage show you were doing. 🙏🏽 More than a colleague, more than a friend, more than a hairstylist- You are beautiful and loving soul that made his mark and left a legacy led through kindness. We miss you already! 😩 Sending prayers to your hubby and family during this gut-wrenching time. We will always speak your name. We will always smile when we think of you. We will always love you 😘 Sleep well my friend 🫶🏽✨👑 by @joywilliamsbeauty
