As two business owners, we’ve been feeling like it’s time for a little reset.... A chance to step away from the grind, connect with good people, and come back sharper than ever.

So we’re putting together a weekend for business owners, 𝐛𝐨𝐭𝐡 𝐰𝐨𝐦𝐞𝐧 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐦𝐞𝐧, to intentionally step back and focus on connection. If you’re the type who loves great convos, new experiences, and real connections, you should come.

We call it a “𝐦𝐢𝐜𝐫𝐨-𝐫𝐞𝐜𝐡𝐚𝐫𝐠𝐞”

3-days, 2-nights, surprise activities, great conversations and fresh new energy to put back into your business.

There are three core elements that go into a 𝐦𝐢𝐜𝐫𝐨-𝐫𝐞𝐜𝐡𝐚𝐫𝐠𝐞.

𝐑𝐞𝐜𝐨𝐧𝐧𝐞𝐜𝐭 – Where you’ll connect with other ambitious people, have fun, and get out of your usual routine. Sometimes, the best ideas come when you’re not actively trying to force them.

𝐑𝐞𝐟𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐡 – after an exciting day of connecting with new friends it’s time to take a deep breath. No pressure, no stress. Just a chance to chill and reset with a refreshing group activity.

𝐑𝐞𝐟𝐨𝐜𝐮𝐬 – Now that everyone has gotten to know each other, we’ll have an intentional brainstorming session and help each other figure out how to bring that momentum back into our businesses and lives.

Here’s the details:

- 𝐀𝐩𝐫𝐢𝐥 𝟐𝟓𝐭𝐡 - 𝟐𝟕𝐭𝐡 (Friday to Sunday)

- 𝟑-𝐝𝐚𝐲 / 𝟐-𝐧𝐢𝐠𝐡𝐭 𝐬𝐭𝐚𝐲 with a small group of like-minded people in a beautiful villa

- 𝐒𝐮𝐫𝐩𝐫𝐢𝐬𝐞 𝐚𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐯𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐞𝐬 to bring the vibes and stimulate the mind (don’t worry nothing too crazy and we’ll tell you what to bring)

- Wrap up with 𝐚 𝐬𝐨𝐥𝐢𝐝 𝐛𝐫𝐚𝐢𝐧𝐬𝐭𝐨𝐫𝐦 𝐬𝐞𝐬𝐬𝐢𝐨𝐧 to spark new ideas

We make no money on this, everything is just split amongst the group that attends + food at your own costs.

The goal here is just to create a space for the right people to connect, reset, and leave 𝐟𝐞𝐞𝐥𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐫𝐞𝐜𝐡𝐚𝐫𝐠𝐞𝐝 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐝𝐲 𝐭𝐨 𝐥𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐥 𝐮𝐩.

If this sounds like your vibe, drop a 🖤 in the comments, DM me, or just use the link in my bio to apply.

Let’s make this happen.

Portugal S1 E5: “F**ked”

As we drove towards the helipad, music loud, spirits high… this unsettling feeling crept over me.

The clouds were quickly descending on us, this was really unusual to see in Portugal, especially during the summer months.

At this point we all start to realize that there is a pretty big chance that these helicopters….. are not going up.

I mean, we couldn’t even see the water next to the helipad even though it was in throwing distance.

But there was still hope!

So we pull up, helicopter sitting there with a pilot ready to greet us and take us up to see the beautiful city of Lisbon.

As I start moving in the direction of the office, I see the manager standing in the doorway…..

I shout out, “not happening today is it”

His head starts to shake no….

We were fucked.

I was so upset!!!! The first surprise the BIG one to kick off this epic adventure for the guys…… failed.

We tried everything to see if it could fit into our schedule for another day but we were traveling 3 hours south and it just wouldn’t have made sense.

The guys sat in the helicopter and had some fun pretending but that was all haha.

They didn’t make me feel bad about it. Everyone stayed positive about the rest of the trip and if anything it excited them for what was to come.

Portugal S1 E4: “Th First Surprise”

The one to kick it all off… I knew it had to be big!

I thought to myself… “This is gonna set the pace of the entire trip.”

I knew I had to pick something so crazy that when I said it, they would think I was kidding.

so I thought…

What better way to do that then to rent 3 helicopters and get them there within 90 minutes of their arrival in Portugal.

I thought it was wild… Even for me.

I was just hoping that they felt the same way.

So while everybody was eating their delicious steaks, salmons, and burgers….

Feeling relaxed and probably tired.

Not knowing what was next…..

I decided to hit them with a bit of dopamine.

Their reaction… The first of many that will live rent-free in my head for the rest of my life.

But that’s exactly one of the reasons I did it.

When was the next time I was gonna get five of my closest friends to fly across the world at the same exact time to have a vacation together in a country they don’t know with a language they don’t speak.

This was an opportunity to create memories, not just for myself. But more importantly, for each one of them.

Because now that the dust is settled, and all is said and done…..

For the rest of their lives, they’ll be able to tell the story about this adventure.

They’ll tell the story to their friends, their family, their kids.

Why is that important?

One word…”inspire”

The story that they would tell could have the potential to inspire everyone around them to live life to the fullest. Do crazy things and experience all this life has to offer. Get out of their comfort zone.

I felt that the story could ripple positively into peoples lives all around us.

That was an opportunity I couldn’t pass up.

And with that mindset, this trip was born.

Oh yeah, so helicopters… Let’s get back to the story.

Portugal - S1 E3: “Pull the trigger”

Short reel with an important message.

Next time someone invites you to do something or go somewhere with them or a group of people.

Recognize the intent behind your ‘yes’…..

Most people just say yes to feel included in the moment. They don’t want to kill a vibe or let someone down….

But when it comes to pulling the trigger they bail.

Do you have someone like that in your life…. Is that you?

I have a message for both parties

First, to the person the YES sayer that doesn’t pull the trigger……

You’re only hurting yourself.

When you say yes to someone and make a verbal agreement to include yourself in something…

They invited you to share in that experience because it has meaning and felt important to them.

So when you say yes, you’re lifting their spirits. GREAT

But when you ultimately bail or don’t pull the trigger….

Not only are you letting them down BUT

You are slowly and surely tarnishing your trust score with people around you……

And further more you are diminishing the value of your own word to yourself.

Guess what…. People notice, they catch on, and then you become the person in the group that doesn’t get an invite because nobody thinks you’re going to show up so why bother.

Maybe you really DO want to join. But your current circumstances just don’t allow.

It’s ok to be honest about that in the moment.

That person may not like your response but at least you have done your part and set the expectation with honesty from the get.

And to the person that has a YES sayer that never pulls the trigger in their life.

#1 Be honest with them about it and explain how it makes you feel. Communication is THE MOST important part of ANY relationship or friendship.

People can’t work on improving something if they aren’t made aware of by those they are close to.

#2 Never stop inviting them….. keep bringing light, and energy and opportunity to the lives of everyone around you.

You are the creator of moments that people go on to tell stories about for years if not the rest of their lives.

- -

And to everyone….Have you really stepped out of your comfort zone lately? Only you know that answer.

Portugal - S1 E2: “No Bro!!!”

There is one important detail about this adventure…..

When I invited the guys, I told them that all they had to do was buy their tickets.

The rest was a surprise!

All they knew was when they were going to land in Portugal….. the rest would only reveal itself to them minute by minute.

In my head, this was way too special of an opportunity.

5 of my best friends…. Flying to Portugal with no idea of what’s to come?

No way I wasn’t going to document it.

But I didn’t want that to take away from my time with them. If anything I wanted it to add to the experience.

So I searched Instagram high and low….

Hashtag after hashtag….. message after message asking who is available and would they be open to filming for 8 days straight!

Then I received a response from this guy João @pereztravel

I loved his filming style and was excited!

Unfortunately, he wasn’t available but he did recommend me to a guy that was.

Intro Jurre…. aka Jason (@jasons.creatives)

21 years old and ready for an adventure. He agreed to join us.

Only, he wasn’t from Portugal and he wasn’t living there.

I had to fly him in from Amsterdam.

So that’s what I did.

And man oh man…. What a wonderful decision that turned out to be.

The guys had no idea of course so I told Jason to approach everyone like a tour guide looking to hustle us…..

This reel is how that went.

Life will never be the same. Enjoy this trailer for “To The Fullest - Portugal 2023”……One of the craziest and most fulfilling things I have ever done.

An inspirational journey of what it really looks like to say “YES!” to life.

Imagine one of your best friend invites you and a group of 4 other best friends to travel to a foreign country for 8 days…..and you say “YES”!

That same friend also tells you that they will plan the whole thing…..the only thing you need to do is buy your ticket and show up…. And you say “YES!”.

After landing you have absolutely no idea what you’ll be doing, no idea where you will be sleeping, no idea how to speak the language. You only know that you said “YES!” to an opportunity that presented itself and that you’ll be with people you love…… because what else really matters more than spending time with people you love.

Well, here’s a glimpse into how that might go.

When I count my blessings, your at the top brother. I can’t express how much I love, appreciate and admire you……Not only as one of my best friends but also as a human. You’re a kind soul with a warriors work ethic. Hands down I can say that I wouldn’t be who I am or where I am today without you.

Getting to explore Portugal with you was unreal and one of the most nostalgic experiences of my life. I’m glad you and @marybrownnn were there to not only share those moments with me but….admittedly curate some of them as well.

You both helped pave the way for those that followed and trust me I gave credit where credit was due. Just know that next time….. I won’t disappoint.

Thank you for all of your patience and support, not just today but over the years.

Throwback to some Scotland 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿 adventures.

For 36 hours we were stuck on the Isle of Skye because our car broke down. But that didn’t get us down!
(Ok maybe just a little)

We decided to make the most of it and hit the trails just shy of 4am to catch a sunrise on top of The Storr.

Unfortunately it totally slipped my mind to empty the memory card on my camera beforehand…… so we got all the way to the top of this unbelievably breathtaking mountain and low and behold I couldn’t grab a shot of it!

Lucky for us there were a couple badass photographers that camped up there and offered to take some shots for us!

So thank you to @fabiankarch 📸
