Saitama token holders: the DOJ (U.S. Attorney's Office, District of Massachusetts) just emailed official victim notices to people it identified as victims or potential victims in the Saitama crypto cases. Check your inbox and spam for mail from vnsadmin@usdoj.gov.

What happened: prosecutors say Saitama's leaders hyped the token while secretly selling. They allegedly paid market makers to fake trading volume and pump the price. At its peak Saitama was valued at $7.5 billion.

The cases, all in federal court in Boston:
- Maxwell Hernandez pleaded guilty
- Russell Armand pleaded guilty
- Manpreet Kohli and Haroon Mohsini go to trial April 2027
- Nam Tran is charged but hasn't been arrested
The SEC has also filed a civil suit.

If you got a letter: it explains your rights under the Crime Victims' Rights Act. You can confer with the prosecutor, be notified of court dates, and seek restitution. Restitution amounts will be set at sentencing.

To get updates, register at notify.usdoj.gov using the VNS ID and PIN from your letter. The help desk is 866-625-1631. Didn't get a letter but bought Saitama? Contact the USAO Boston victim-witness line at 617-748-3135.
