the playbook got me here!

Tonight, May 9, 2026, I’m graduating from Texas A&M University for the second time, this time with my M.S. in Sport Management. It’s crazy that this chapter is already over. Ever since graduating with my bachelor’s in 2024, this place has continued to shape me in so many ways, and I’m beyond grateful for every friendship, lesson, memory, and opportunity along the way. A&M will always feel like home, and I’ll forever be thankful for everyone who made these years so special. Proud to be an Aggie forever. Aggie grad x2 signing out! @tamu #GigEm by @jtsflicks

The finale 🎬

In 24 hours I will graduate from the illustrious Texas Southern University, becoming the first Black man in my family to earn a college degree. 🎓

What I once believed was just about me became a journey shaped by faith, growth, and purpose. Through long nights, hard lessons, and moments that tested me, I discovered strength I did not know I had and grew into the man I am today.

I am deeply grateful to TSU for preparing me for the next chapter of my life and for giving me four unforgettable years and memories I will carry with me forever.

I look forward to all that the future holds.

THE Dime of the Line:

Some people leave college with memories. I’m leaving with a family.

As this chapter comes to a close, I’m grateful for every moment that led me to this season and for the sisters who made every milestone sweeter. What started as a line became a lifelong bond one that will carry us far beyond the yard.

Prairie View gave me a degree, but it also gave me relationships that time, distance, and life’s next chapters can never erase. I’m forever grateful to everyone who paved the way and poured into me, making this journey one I’ll cherish for a lifetime.

It truly is None Greater.

Radiant R.E.D. signing out, but forever carrying the legacy❤️

Dear Journey,

I transferred to Texas Southern to compete as a track and field athlete. My first year was everything I hoped for… until it ended sooner than I ever imagined due to injury.

Many saw me compete, but few know what came after. When athletes step away from the sport they love, the identity crisis is real… feeling lost and questioning who you are without it.

During one of the hardest times in my life, I was preparing for spinal surgery while away from my family, without strong support or consistent guidance from my “coaches.” The day before my surgery, I lost my best friend. I had to go home and reschedule, navigating grief and recovery mostly on my own. That experience forced me to grow up fast and rely on myself in ways I never had before.

It built my independence, resilience, and self-motivation qualities that still show up in how I move today. I’m proactive, adaptable, and able to perform under pressure, even when I have to figure things out on my own.

There were days I struggled with acceptance, trying to reconcile who I was with who I was becoming. But even in that uncertainty, I found purpose in the pause.

After 15 years as an athlete, I’m grateful for every coach who pushed me and every teammate who became family.

And to my mama—thank you for every sacrifice, every early morning and late night, and for always being my strength.

“God is within her, she will not fail.” That became my anchor.

Even without competing, I’ve dedicated myself to athletes through media, player relations, and community work.

To any athlete whose career was cut short: you’re not alone. Your worth isn’t defined by a uniform or a scoreboard.

Sometimes the dream doesn’t end—it just changes direction.
