Started with something good to get my basics down and now it was time to upgrade. A huge thank you to @skrrt_griptape for the message because talking to him about my journey and then to see this means soo much. God bless and keep skating. #42andstillpushing by @juan_prieto2717

Not really much to say here but, I finally got a @themuska board. 🫡🛹🇺🇸 by @juan_prieto2717

Every time I post about Jesus I used to think what will people think or this or that. But the reality of it is, I used to post about being drunk or all the beer cans I can stack in the shed and I didn’t hesitate to post that or the party that I’m going to etc. Well I no longer have that life nor want anything from it, so I post about the one who saved me. The one who told me it’s ok to be different and not to be like everyone else. Our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. That’s what I’m going to post about and hopefully people that are off the beaten path will realize that’s where God will pick you up and get you right.

It’s always the small skate shops that give you the back when I started skating feeling and this place was it. @resident_skateshop was more than welcoming and gave me the history of the shop and it just felt like we knew one another. But that’s how skateboarding is, family feeling regardless of your level of skating. I’m just getting back into it and loving every fall, scrape, sore back and just all of it. God is good and I’m sure skateboarding is His favorite sport. God bless and keep skating. #skatingat42 #residentskateshop by @juan_prieto2717

So if you can do anything in life I would highly recommend to follow Jesus. Alcohol was my outlet and I never made good decisions consuming it. And for me I wasn’t one to just drink to hang out or for flavor. I wanted to be wasted and be the life of the party. Well yes maybe that was true for a night or two not for years on end. It wasn’t meant to go to it when I was angry, sad, depressed and what ever else have you. Yes 90 days for me is such a feeling that only God can explain to me because I wasn’t listening or following at those times. Give it all to God because he will save you and I’m proof that His faith has works. It’s hard but the closer you get to God, you know what just follow God. You see what I write and my testimonies and for anyone who has known me for a while, I was a lost soul and people won’t admit it but I will. That’s the thing holding yourself accountable and remember you’re not that person you were years ago. God gives you a new heart. God is good. by @juan_prieto2717
