Retiro NZT ’26 💙
— Juan 15:13

188 personas fuimos a remar mar adentro.

🤍 by @juankajass

“If loving San Diego is wrong, I don’t want to be right” by @juankajass

After putting this off for a while, the time has finally come. As the semester ends, so does my Year 3 season.

Thank you to all my Diamond teammates and my Marching/Dance friends for making this season my favorite one yet.

To Coach Jacque Pearson — thank you for being the best coach I could have ever asked for. You are a major part of the reason I am who I am today. The way I see you as a coach continues to inspire the kind of leader I strive to be for my high schoolers.

Kaylee, you are the other reason I’ve grown into who I am. Most of what I’ve learned is thanks to you. Thank you for believing in me and giving me the opportunity to coach alongside you and work with our amazing Ivory kids.

To my Nazarenos (Faith, Charlize, Denise, Giulianna, and Dom) — you are the reason this was my favorite season ever. Los amo con todo mi corazón.

To La Familia (Anethe, Liani, Trinity, Nathaniel, Jon, and the Nazarenos) — you are some of my favorite people, and I love you all so much. A special thank-you to Anethe for being my backbone and constant support throughout the season. I said we’d become great friends this year, and it came true.

To my Big and Littles (Meliá, Alyssa, Dom, and Nick) — you will always hold that place in my heart, no matter the year or whether we’re on or off the team. I love you all, and I’m grateful for everything.

Diamonds, I love you all so much. Thank you for an amazing year.
