A few verses from Aditya Hridayam: The Heart of the Sun.

When you’re weighed down with the battles within, this is a beautiful mantra for a source of renewed strength and clarity. I’ve been learning Vedic mantras with my chanting teacher @shantala_sriramaiah since 2022 and I have to say one of the hardest tasks for me has been learning the ancient Vedic Sanskrit mantras. 😵‍💫 I usually find things easy, Vedic Mantras I’ve really had to knuckle down and pause, listen and be present over and over again. It’s hard but so rewards and I love it! Chanting fills my heart and souls and my yoga pup Mr LaiFu loves Vedic Mantras too!

All mistakes are my own.

They say this mantra dispels fear, sorrow and inner obstacles to invoke courage, vitality and clarity. I’m chanting this also to strengthen the Sun in my chart the ruler of my first house, my lagna lord. My actions are my own and I hold myself to account. When patterns repeat in my life I need to clean my house, me. What are the lessons here for me? What do I have to heal? And gratitude to the other who has shown me what I need to heal.

It’s been perfect timing learning this mantra now and I couldn’t think of a better way then to strengthen and get to know my Lagna lord The Sun.

Turning my attention toward the light that illumines my intellect and guides my actions. 🙏♥️🌞
