You spend so much of your time at work, so having people who make the journey worthwhile is a blessing. The right people can make your current workplace a stepping stone to opportunities and a future you once only imagined.

Here are some of my incredible coligues🤭 @miss_leylah

Snipping back to United Nations 81 birthday! In a world increasingly marked by conflict, division, and competing national interests, we need spaces where countries can come together, negotiate, and work towards shared solutions so yess UN still remain relevant! by @judiesays

One of the most powerful frameworks I took away from @drcatherinekahabuka Consulting and Career Advancement Masterclass. We often invest heavily in technical skills, focusing on how well we execute tasks, yet the framework challenges us to pay equal attention to how we think.

It highlights an 85/15 split between soft skills and technical skills in career success, reminding us that communication, emotional intelligence, strategic thinking, problem-solving, and relationship-building are essential to professional growth.

At some point in your career, working harder is not enough; you must learn to think differently. Your ability to see the bigger picture, influence decisions, navigate relationships, and position yourself strategically can distinguish you from the crowd.

The question is no longer just how well you do the work, but how well you think about the work. Invest in your mind, sharpen your soft skills, and prepare for your next level.

This masterclass was the bessssst!👌👌👌👌 by @judiesays

There comes a point in your career when you have more questions than answers. You begin to question your direction, your next move, your positioning, and whether your current path aligns with the future you envision for yourself.

At that point, thinking about it is not enough. You need to take intentional action, invest in yourself, and create the clarity you need to move forward.

For me, one of the best investments I have made this year was attending Dr. Catherine’s Consulting and Career Advancement Masterclass.

I walked into the room with questions and left with a transformed mindset, an expanded network, fresh perspectives, and a renewed sense of direction. Sometimes, the next level of your career requires more than working harder. It requires being in the right rooms, learning from the right people, asking the right questions, and being intentional about your growth.

I genuinely believe this experience will be a turning point in my career. The connections I made, the lessons I learned, and the shifts in my thinking have opened my eyes to possibilities I had not fully considered before.

It gets better darlings🙂‍↔️ by @judiesays

On a very random thought….

I think we have become so accustomed to measuring people by what they produce that we have forgotten how to simply admire who they are.

Even intelligence must now be profitable, visible, and socially validated before it is considered worthy of admiration.

What happened to loving a mind simply because of the way it thinks, questions, wanders, and sees the world? by @judiesays

UNA Tanzania participated in the 3rd National Youth Peace Forum, represented by our Head of Youth Department, who also served as a panelist during the Youth Economic Empowerment session.

The discussion highlighted the strong link between economic empowerment and peace: when young people have access to meaningful economic opportunities, decent livelihoods and the ability to participate in economic life, they are better positioned to contribute positively to their communities and to a peaceful and inclusive nation.

At UNA Tanzania, we remain committed to building a Tanzania where young people are not only beneficiaries of peace, but active contributors and leaders in building and sustaining peaceful communities.

Fursa pekee hazitoshi. Vijana wanahitaji ujuzi unaoendana na mahitaji ya soko, ikiwemo teknolojia na AI, ili waweze kuzitumia fursa hizo kujenga maisha na uchumi. ~ Judith Urio, UNA

Panel Discussion | Youth Economic Empowerment
Youth economic empowerment is a foundation for national stability and sustainable development.

At the 3rd National Forum on Youth, Peace & Security Agenda 2026, this thematic discussion will explore the connection between economic opportunities, meaningful youth participation, peace and national development.

The session will provide a platform for young people and stakeholders to share perspectives on entrepreneurship, employment, innovation, access to opportunities and partnerships that can strengthen young people’s contribution to inclusive and resilient communities.

When young people have opportunities to participate meaningfully in the economy, they can contribute to stronger communities and a more sustainable future.
