big smiles when i’m thinking about all the new marvel projects🫶🏼

I can’t get over how much new stuff we have coming up with marvel so let’s look at the timeline of what we will be getting in the upcoming months:

💥 Ms. Marvel (June 8th, 2022)
⚡️Thor: Love & Thunder (July 8th, 2022)
💚 She-Hulk (August 17th, 2022)
💟 Black Panther: Wakanda Forever (November 11th, 2022)
🎄Guardians of the Galaxy: Holiday Special (December 2022)

Which project in 2022 are you most excited for? My answer is probably obvious by now but I am so excited for Thor: Love & Thunder. I could genuinely go on & on about how excited I am for that movie, but I will save you the paragraph😂 I am also super excited for Black Panther: Wakanda Forever! The first Black Panther movie has such a special place in my heart (& my marvel rankings since it’s #3) so I can’t wait to see where they take the future of wakanda & the black panther!! 🤩 by @jules.new.groove

dcp: season 3 loading…✨🐭💕🏰🎇

SURPRISE!!! the disney college program couldn’t get rid of me even if they tried & trust me it sometimes feels like they’ve tried…

if you told me after my first dcp in 2023 that i would be doing my third one 3 years later, i would’ve laughed in your face! as we know my journey of working at disney has been rocky to say the least. so if you are new here, this is a little recap of my cast member journey🤩

my first dcp was in 2023, where i did my four month summer program & absolutely loved getting to live in walt disney world, but my role in food was less than ideal. i still had to graduate so i knew i wasn’t going to extend my program, then in 2024 once i had gotten my degree, it was time to go back. this time i did a year long program till 2025 in attractions at hollywood studios. i fully intended on going part/full time with the company, my role was a dream come true working at muppetvision & indiana jones meant so much to me. i had applied for the position but was denied because of false accusations & work drama… needless to say i was crushed. but now it’s about to be a year after my last dcp ended & i’ll be back for round 3 in august of 2026, role unknown, obviously, but i feel like the Lord placed this opportunity back into my life for a reason & hopefully that reason is that i can stay with disney long term.

third times the charm & hopefully that saying is correct! when i wasn’t able to stay on after my last dcp in 2025 i had always told myself i would come back to disney for a part or full time position & not do another dcp. but after almost a year of scrolling through endless job posting that i’m unqualified for, i got anxious because my window to do another program would expire in april because how long it’s been since i graduated. so it was now or never if i wanted a way to get back to disney without years of waiting for them to post a job that worked for me! when the door to do another dcp opened, i took it!

so that’s my disney journey, messy, complicated, but thankfully far from over! i have such high hopes for this next program & what the Lord has in store for me at disney & i can’t wait for my return in august🥹 by @jules.new.groove

disney adults are the coolest girls!! 🏰💕🎇

a recent article came out on “the cut” titled, “goodbye, disney adults; hello, disney cool girls” & i have to admit i laughed out loud when reading that title. the concept of a “disney cool girl” makes no sense, it’s just another word for a girl who loves disney aka a disney adult! but adding the word “cool” to it puts the negative connotation that disney adults are somehow uncool in comparison!

the division of trying to put people into boxes of “cool fashion disney girl” vs “uncool disney adult” is so stupid! these narratives create such division & toxicity in a community that shares one common thing: a love for disney & fashion! disney style has become so much of a competition in this community & it should never be that way! if you love to dress up in heels & fun layers to the parks, that’s amazing! if you love to rock a disney t-shirt & shorts with comfy shoes, that’s also amazing! you are all going to disney for one reason: to enjoy the parks! it’s doesn’t matter what you wear to your favorite place, your love for disney is the most important thing! this is a reminder that the clothes you wear don’t make you cool. the way you treat others with kindness & respect that’s what really makes you cool!

if you are embarrassed to call yourself a disney adult & find more comfort in wanting to be seen as a “disney cool girl”, i challenge you to look deeper into why that label matters so much to you, is it your fear of how others will perceive you? because if that’s the case, you should never be embarrassed about your love for disney! the people who should be embarrassed are those who want to hate on what brings others joy & whimsy!! i am a proud disney adult & i will never let anyone try to take that away!✨ by @jules.new.groove

earned my ears with the help of my favorite disney character🦝🥹🫐🤍

being a character attendant has been the most fun job ever especially cause it makes moments like this even more special!! for the past 2 college programs, i always told myself i would have meeko take off my earning my ears badge once i completed training, but i was never able to do it because he wasn’t meeting in the parks. meeko is typically only seen in the parades or festival shows since he’s more of a rare character! i had always dreamed of him taking off the tag since he’s my favorite character so finally getting to do it after 3 years was a dream come true!! it meant even more to me for this special role because meeko was the last character i attended when i passed & earned my ears, so it was such a cool moment completing training alongside my favorite disney character!! then when i found out animation courtyard was open & meeko is over there sometimes i freaked out because it meant i could have the interaction i always hoped with him taking off my training badge! this has to be the best character interaction i’ve ever had at disney because even though it was a crowded area, pocahontas & meeko took so much time with me! they listened to me explain what this meant to me, they hugged me & cheered me on, & i felt so loved!! disney entertainment truly makes so much of the magic that is disney & getting to be a tiny part of that as a character attendant is the coolest thing!! forever in love with my job & this little life, so grateful for this sweet moment with my favorite underrated raccoon & his best friend princess!! 🫂 by @jules.new.groove

third times the charm🪄🐭🩵

& just like that i’m so happy to be back making magic!! i forgot to post these traditions photo from a month ago cause my program has been flying by already!! getting to get my name tag & blue id again is a feeling that will truly never get old! i’m so thankful for this opportunity again & I LOVE MY JOB!! i have so many fun photos from my role that i can’t wait to share! this is MY TIME this program just feels so much different than my others & i have so much hope for what the Lord has in store for me here at disney!! dream role in my favorite park, it doesn’t get better than this! (this song carried me through my last program reminding me my time at disney will come again, so it felt appropriate to use for this post) 🫶🏼 by @jules.new.groove

endgame is back in theatres & suddenly it’s 2019 again🫶🏼 by @jules.new.groove

avengers: endgame encore has me reminiscing on the time my best friend & i knew we couldn’t risk spoilers so we skipped half our junior prom to make sure we could see avengers: endgame opening night! 2019 was a time to be alive, i love being a marvel fan & i love friends who will nerd our with me!! i think everyone should go to the movie theatre in a giant prom dress at least once in their life💕🎞️💥 by @jules.new.groove

get to know me through my favorite franchises!! ⭐️🎥🤭

marvel💥
-if you know me or have followed me on here for a while, this one is VERY obvious!! marvel has been apart of my life since i was 8 years old, it’s a franchise that’s been with me for 15 years & continues to be my favorite thing to nerd out about!! through every phase & every story my love for marvel only grows! the heroes are human, they make mistakes & stupid choices, they struggle with their mental health, & they love with everything they have! the mcu has brought so much joy & friendship into my life & it will always mean the world to me!! it has taught me so many important life lessons over the years!❤️

star wars🪐
-while marvel will always be my favorite, star wars was actually with me first!! my parents & my sister all love star wars & i remember watching the original movies as a kid because my parents showed them to me & it was such a special experience!! my mom & dad aren’t big into fandoms or movies but star wars was always something we could bond over loving, my mom would go with me to see the sequels when they came out in theatres & our favorite part of disney world is galaxy’s edge! i will always have an immense soft spot for star wars for how connected it makes me feel to my family! 🤎

wicked🧹
-musical theatre has always meant so much to me, leading me to get my degree in theatre! wicked was one of the first musicals i became so obsessed with & it all started in middle school. when i was in 7th grade, i was a flying monkey in the wizard of oz! majority of the cast was high schoolers, so i felt so cool to be apart of the production! they all were obsessed with wicked & introduced me to the world of shiz & all the magic of the musical!! my best friend & i were brunette & blonde so obvious we were convinced we were elphaba & glinda, we spent all our rehearsals singing what is this feeling? wherever we went! i became even more obsessed when the movies came out! i saw part one 9 times in theaters & part two 9 times in theatres as well, if that tells you how deep my love for this musical goes! 💚
