meet the artist!!!! ᥫ᭡.ִֶָ𓂃⋆˚࿔ᝰ.ᐟ

My name is Jules, I’m a 23 year old tattoo artist of 4 years based in Pompano Beach Florida. I was born and raised in Westwood New Jersey and moved to South Florida right out of highschool to pursue tattooing. I grew up as an artist who gravitated towards charcoal, acrylic paint and sketching nature and human bodies/faces. I now specialize in black and grey realism, portraits, and fine line work.

I’m a huge lover of community, music, the outdoors, any sort of adventure, and I’m BIG into the EDM scene and find so much joy and inspiration within electronic music festivals. I’m an extremely spontaneous person which is one trait that makes me the artist I am today. I get inspired by nature, emotion, experience, and changes of perspective through experiences. I absolutely love meeting new people and I find such a purpose in being able to connect with new people every day and help them express feelings in their mind into art on their body, and it’s been my mission to make people feel truly comfortable, seen, and listened to in my chair.

Tattooing is an extremely sacred practice to me mainly because a tattoo is the only thing that will survive only as long as you do. I have been exposed to a lot of death in my life and lost my mom when I was 13; who was an artist herself. Experiencing loss gave me a deeper perspective to life and an understanding of how beautiful, temporary, and fragile life can be which is exactly why I think expressing ourselves in this lifetime without shame is so important.

I’m so grateful for this journey and the family I’ve gained along the way. It has not been easy in any way but I’m very proud with how far I have come as a person and an artist, this used to be only a dream that felt so far away. Thank you to everyone who has ever supported me from the beginning and to everyone who has sat in my chair at any point along the way.

This past weeekend at @orlandotattooshow 🌟
Such amazing artists across the board that I feel so grateful and inspired to have seen and spoken to. This weekend was my first time competing ever and I’m so grateful to have brought home second place in healed neo traditional. This convention truly put into perspective how much there is for me to learn and how far I can really take this career if I keep working harder and harder. Thank you to everyone to came out to support us ❤️
