Originally created as a 48 Hour Film Project, ‘String Theory’ was written, shot, and edited in under 3 days. I couldn’t be any prouder of my crew, friends, and team for the local festival success we’ve had since its completion. This truly was a team effort, and I couldn’t be happier with how far we’ve come since. I want to thank @htxmade_films @localseahag and the @cinemasocietyhtx for accepting us into their ‘Houston Stories’ block last year during their annual Houston Cinema Arts Festival! 🎬 Catch a screening of ‘String Theory’ on Feb 25th @ 7PM during the @theriveroakstheatre’s ‘Houston Filmmaker Showcase’ OR during the @houstonlatinofilmfestival on March 18-22nd! 📲 Follow to stay informed about our upcoming films and see more BTS from our sets! #cinematography #film #filmmaking #houstonfilm #nisiopticsusa Credits: Director: @jerzycarranza Writer: @kailajs Executive Producer: @jerzycarranza Producer: @filmsbyhobbs DP: @jerzycarranza Starring: @julia.strug @matt_jacob_taylor @kylefuhouston Extras: @becksxox__ @filmsbyhobbs @charlespluke @jerzycarranza Writers Assitants: @christianlambhtx @charlespluke 1st AD: @filmsbyhobbs Gaffer: @jerzycarranza Grip: @fsosa210 @charlespluke and Levi Dolney 1st AC: @fsosa210 2nd AC: @christianlambhtx Production Sound Mixer: @maximos.sound Original score composed by: @maximos.sound Art Director: @becksxox__ HMU: @becksxox__ Safety Coordinator: @kotaotb Crafty Services: @serena_tsuk1no BTS: @_ac.b_ Editors: @jerzycarranza @julia.strug Graphic Design: @nuggzki Drone Pilot: @astro_sammuel Production Assistants: @charlespluke @mattthecurran and Levi Dolney Special Thanks: Teresa Whittington of Texas Charm and Quinn Bishop of Cactus Music by @julia.strug
Gaffing for ‘Sol Sisters’ required minimal lighting setups with extreme versatility. This meant a single light was often doing most of the heavy lifting. The setups shown here utilize the @aputure.lighting Spotlight to its maximum potential. Bouncing the hard light off the ceiling to create a soft top-down light, or striking just behind or below the talent’s heads to create a SOFHOB look. When possible, an Aputure lantern was used to raise the ambiance and fill the room. #cinematography #film #filmmaking #48hourfilmproject #bts Credits: Co-directors: @filmsbyhobbs @nuggzki @kailajs @charlespluke @ashton_sheppard_ Producers: @filmsbyhobbs @cluelesslela Written by: @nuggzki @ashton_sheppard_ @kailajs @charlespluke @christianlambhtx @my.names.colton DP: @ryansfigueroa Starring: @julia.strug @baymousee @matt_jacob_taylor Production Manager: @leslie.yvonne.phillips Location Manager: @my.names.colton Location Scout: @cluelesslela 1st AD: @cluelesslela 2nd AD: @kailajs Script Supervisor: @cluelesslela Gaffer: @jerzycarranza Grip: @jerzycarranza 1st AC: @charlespluke 2nd AC: @eliot_frank Production Sound Mixer: @maximos.sound Composed by: @kotaotb Composer Assistant: Mak Albert Art Director: @becksxox__ Set Decorator: @my.names.colton Prop Master: Elizabeth Cook HMU: @becksxox__ Safety Coordinator: @kotaotb Crafty Services: @leslie.yvonne.phillips and Elizabeth Cook and Mak Albert BTS: @_ac.b_ Editors: @ryansfigueroa @mad_makai Graphic Design: @filmsbyhobbs and Edwin Flores Drone Pilot: @astro_sammuel Production Assistants: @christianlambhtx @ashton_sheppard_ Special Thanks: @arrestingmotion @filmsbynobul @thirdgencoffee Rachel Lanigan, Abby Powers, Elizabeth Cook, Mak Albert, The Stewart Family, Michael Lamb and Avery Lamb by @julia.strug
