Today is me and Adam’s first anniversary or actually it’s the anniversary of our first date, which I know because he has it on his calendar. I love Adam because he is funny kind generous friendly because he has undiagnosed OCD and fancy hair, because he is literally incapable of passing judgment, he is impervious to my many bad qualities, he calls me little princess running the show, he went to prep school in SF and came out wanting to be a nurse, he can’t spell, he is an amazing chef, he literally smiles in his sleep, he hates violin and France and is completely obsessed with king crab legs and charging his car, because he reads the room, because he hasn’t posted on Instagram since 2021, because he called me an influencer for the first time at a UNESCO heritage site, and also because he is my complete opposite. I sang Rihanna to him in the bathroom this morning and he said “that was really good.” He is so gentle and has the biggest heart and last night cut me a special little hole in a bandaid for my blister. That photo is him rinsing bleach from my socks in the shower btw. Love u adam 🤧🙂‍↕️💝 by @juliafharrison

saloon went sweater mode last week along with our friends @futongandfriends & @marinelayer for their knit house on spring street. A ram-shaped ice luge, jello shots, @bluestonebabe tattoos and fair isle in the same room…hell of an intro to looking chic & being toasty all season

Yall know we weren’t getting out of this weekend without a sentimental post from me get real. Basically I’ve spent a lot of my adult life trying to seek out and learn to experience joy which doesn’t come easily to me but Eleanor and Jackson have been my best teachers. Those two are really amazing at making things happy and carefree and it’s just as simple as that for them. I love them. But also hope they’re not reading this bc they’re mini-mooning in Maine as they damn well should be (and eating a fish bagel at Rose Foods as I instructed??). See you next week and also forever 💝💝💝💝💝💝💝💝 by @juliafharrison
