I‘ve fallen down the creative rabbit hole in @crookedgarden Christinas Atelier, into her gentle and curious universe – weaving together ideas, soaking up creative wisdom and finding a fairytale 🌞🚂 🌬️ It does something to you when you feel seen as an artist, and Christina has a way of doing that. It reminds me how essential it is to leave the solitary desk from time to time and play together. And maybe sleep over at other peoples atelier to snoop around. PS very mad that I can’t have that Playtown plate! >:( #curiousillustrator #makersmovement #creativeplay #slowartmovement #illustratedceramics by @juliakuentzel

Is it too late to wish you a Happy New Year? 🪩 I‘m back from my midwinter break with a piece of good news and a mood for dancing! Sometimes, at least! It’s still January, we‘re allowed to be grumpy and tired right? 🦔 #womeninanimation #womenanimators #legetrick #collageanimation #papercutillustration framebyframeanimation collageillustration by @juliakuentzel
Illustrated December tiles to set the scene: it is snowing, the natural world transforms. A slash of red glows in the sun. Then your room is enveloped in dark blue, time is working differently now, but it may also just be you reading The Magic Mountain and being dehydrated 🌀 by @juliakuentzel
Have you ever heard of Baba Yagas House? 🌀⏳🥚 Flu-powered Animation Experiments from my Attic Bedroom during Erasmus, when I got very into Baba Yaga and didn’t go outside for a week #experimentalanimation #analogueanimation #babayagashouse by @juliakuentzel
My Grandmother gave me my great-grandmothers 100 year old nightgown and so this November Journal Cover Illustration happened. Still thinking of the Madwoman in the Attic 🕯️ by @juliakuentzel
Happy belated Halloweeeeen 🖤 I was busy watching the full moon and speaking with my relatives through the veil, how was yours? 🌬️ This is my final inktober illustration, and maybe my favourite! by @juliakuentzel
Was a hungry caterpillar here or is it just a Strawberry? I‘m still eating my anachronistic way through @furrylittlepeach s Peachtober! This is my first cut-out illustration so far. #peachtober25 by @juliakuentzel
Which one would you pick up? 🌬️ I really enjoyed drawing these for the #peachtober25 prompt – I feel like each one has a different personality! #peachtober25leaf by @juliakuentzel
Peachtober Prompt 11: Critter! Which is pretty much what I‘ve been drawing all year, anyway :-) Which one is your favourite? 🌬️ by @juliakuentzel
